There's a huge difference between WM2000 and No Mercy.. No Mercy had more match types (ladder match was completely innovative), weapons and move options (more run strikes and grapples, more tag team options) a vastly improved CAW mode, backstage and ramp areas (each with very specific environments and weapons), a table at ring side.. And probably alot more I can't think of.. So yeah, they were different games.. Anyone who played both games would know that..

Have you played No Mercy? How old are you because laughing at this games graphics makes you look silly. This game came out in 2001 and was the last in the series of games using this engine which is almost universally regarded as being the pinnacle of 3d wrestling games beating all others by miles.

This is a wrestling gamer's wrestling game. It was never about great graphics in this series and it doens't hurt it one iota. Besides, the hi-res mods are actually very sharp - just not on YouTube.

No Mercy's graphics aren't the best, but the gameplay and the ability to edit and mod stuff on it makes it one of the best wrestling games of all time. It's not labeled as one of the best for nothing. SvR's newest games blow...the gameplay suck and they're not replayable at all. NOTHING will EVER surpass No Mercy's season mode.

This game came out seven years ago and most will agree that the games using this engine are the best 3d wrestling games bar none. Play them and with any luck you'll realise how backwards it is to insult these games while you play the recent ones. Everything shows up fine in game and the gameplay is unmatched.

Seriously, anyone who was around during that era of wrestling games will tell you the new ones are pathetic in comparison. Plenty of new features but no progress gameplay wise. Trust me.
