  • @uCantsee619 hello, what don't you get? Have you tried watching from Part 1?

  • Where can I find that small seam allowance gauge? Love the videos! Thank you!

  • @FleurtySachi Sorry I have only just got round to replying. It's called a 14 in 1 SEWING GAUGE. Google it. I can't enter links here but google Sew-Quick. Thanks for the comment.

  • she takes to damn loooooong...

  • @o0DEYANIRA0o Fair comment. I'm inclined to agree. I am trying to be more concise in my latest videos. This series was my first.

  • where do you buy part to make clothes?

  • @papercut272 Hello, sorry for late reply, this slipped through the net. If you register on my website you get the pinafore patterns free. If you join as a Full Member for £18.50 you get 24 patterns and 3 really detailed videos on - Making the Classic Shirt, Making T-Shirts and the best so far, Making Authentic Jeans. Hope that helps.

  • I LOVE your videos!!! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!!

  • It looks like the gauge in the video is British only and is called

    Hemline Sewing Gauge.

Clover Seams Right is a U.S. version

I'm also in the U.S. and Joann's fabric has "EZ Quilting Seams Right" for under $4

  • i have some tartan to make a dress... how would i lay this out? do you have a video explaining this?

  • @NaomiCave Hi Naomi. Matching large repeating pattern requires extra fabric. Line up the pattern where it is most noticeable. Back and side seams. When you fold your fabric for cutting take extra care that the horizontal weave is straight and top and bottom layers match. Pin along stripes to check the underside matches. Sometimes it's best to cut as a single layer, right sides up so you can see. Print pattern twice, reverse one and tape centre front instead of placing on fold. Must do a video.

  • could I get the paterns

    kinderkid05@yahoo.com

    Please

  • @mermaidlover011 Hi. This pattern is free from my website. You just have to register. Give it a try

  • Really a great video, very educational! :)

I'm hoping I'll be able to make all my own clothes.

  • Hello Angela. Thanks for the videos. Can you please name this little gauge. I live in USA and hope I will be able to find it here, only if I can know what it is called.

    "Sewing gauge" is not helping.

  • Thank you for viewing. Are you UK based? You can get them in the John Lewis stores and I am sure they must be available elsewhere.

A quick search on Google came up with the Milward Sewing Guage which looks similar - you will find it on ebay.

If you can't get one, send me your address and I'll send you one.

I have a new video coming on soon - Making Trousers from Start to Finish - so I hope you will look out for it.

  • Thank you soo much!!!! (^_^)b

Where can I get that little guage from?

    Thank you once again!!
