@Falc0n6 It's been suggested, with some rather significant evidence to support it, that driving on the left side of the road causes fewer accidents than driving on the right. So suck it!!
the main thing you gotta watchout for is coming onto a main road when your at a junction make sure you look both ways and make sure when you pullout you turn onto the correct side of the road :p and pedestrians too, Always Look Both ways before crossing the Road. it becomes instinct to look one way first then the other way depending on which side of the road your used to, so be careful out there =)
yes we drive on the left which is very normal for us that when we go abroad to america or mainland europe it seems werid driving on the right and is it true that there are hardly any roundabouts in america?
Much easier for you. I learned to drive on the right side of the road, so that's easier for me. I think its basically most of the country's that were once part of the British Empire drive on the left. If what I was always taught is true then the majority of the world drives on the right.
haha yeah, i know, but i've read a few things that say driving on the left is easier. But before, nearly all the world drove on the left, once napoleon got in as emperor, everything changed. the only few countries that weren't apart of the british empire that drive on the left are like.. indonesia, japan, thailand, east timor, and a couple others.
I probably could just up and drive on the left side, it would probably just fell weird at first. However, if I had to drive manual on the left side I'd probably have to practice. Because, I might be wrong but just thinking about having to shift with my left hand makes me think it would be really confusing.
@UnknownOconnor No you couldn't:) Since driving on the ride side is dominant on this planet and therefore is "normal" and you guys are just show offs trying to be different:) Even cars with steering wheel on the right side, have gas and brake and even ignition key the same way as normal cars not the other way ariound. But that is ok, diversity makes it interesting
@analogfantasy I guess we could say the same thing about the fact you guys use Miles and MPH speed limits; the rest of the world uses the metric system unlike the US.
Show offs? Not a chance - we don't need to switch over just because a few cans post videos complaining about the way we drive. What next? Videos about people who walk in cracks on sidewalks :)
Cheers and good on you for making th the brave attempt, and as far as the cursing, I think I might be cursing myself because switching to the wrong side is highly stressful so I dont blame him one bit LOL.
Was this in New Zealand? I was in Australia and they had plenty of roundabouts there too. I'm living in Las Vegas, US and surprisingly there's some roundabouts here as well. Hahah!
hahahahaha...that was funny. If i ever had to drive in a country that drives on the right and the steering wheel is on the left of the car, i'd freak out and probably crash lol.
Yay you guys did good! Better than a lot of the um.. 'foreigners' that drive here.. gr.. anyways where abouts in NZ were you? Next time you come here you should try driving in Auckland traffic! yikes
i hate driver side at the rightside

@walker20082009 Fuck righthand wheel and left side of road driving
Lefthand wheel & driving on the right side of the road is the best

Heck, driving on the left side is depressing. When I had to drive on the left side, I hate it, just doesn't feel right

@analogfantasy Yeah, we could say the same for driving on the right hand side of the road!
