@arcencielstylin Because he has so much money that losing half of it would not affect his lifestyle... Taxes do not affect the rich, but those who want to be rich.
so its fair for the rich to give money to ppl who dont do shit and just sit on there ass, and get a welfare check and live a better life then most, then they are complaining that the rich arnt paying there "fair share" is it fair for rich ppl who had to start off at the bottom to build there business to where it is to day so now that there making there money they they earned its not right or fair for them to have money because they cant be successful without be penalized for it.
Your generalizing poor people way too much. There are people that are poor because nobody will hire them, because there are too many experienced people out of work.
It doesn't matter if they "earned it" that's selfish as hell. They need to have higher txes because they can pay more. What of the rich people that make money off hedge funds and oil? Reverse Robin Hood in a way.
And for the record, I'm on the high end of the middle class, I'm not poor at ALL.
You're clearly a victim yourself. You've been robbed of a proper education thanks to the 1% and now your post has four sentences sharing a single period.

@searchmedonthurtme how many rich people earn their wealth and/or do good things with it? not many. and your a typical conservative, you think everyone who isn't rich or middle class is lazy and just "sits on their ass" and gets welfare because they want it. thats kind of insulting. your brainwashed into thinking "well if your poor its always your own fault"
Well for being a "billionaire" wouldn't you atleast have a website up and running, LIKE the one at the end of the video called allhailtheonepercentDOTorg
The reason you are called godless commies is that most you are, well that or Jews. Most wealthy people are valuable assets to their communities, though obviously regulations are needed. In short there is nothing wrong with making a lot of money provided it is not at the expense of your country or your people. Unless of course you're exploiting someone else's nation for the sake of your own, then morality becomes totally subjective.
@LoveYourFuhrer ah but your wrong, the biggest companies in america are the companies that got rich through the cold war, and these companies have been the puppet masters behind the US government ever since. that why US was never NOT in a war since WW2.
The funny part is, even though the tax on rich people is much higher than middle or lower class people, but the rich still pay less than most more people, cuz they hire people to find tax loopholes XP
I'm in econ Communism is just horrible. In communism you have a goal you have to reach within a certain time period then you get paid your ammount. Any addititonal product that you make the profit goes to the government. So the production rate goes down because what people did in soviet russia they reached their goal and got paid then just stopped. This is a horrible system because the rate of production would never increase which long term would be horrible and a bad economy.
@Firezap14 you just the only way to make capitalist nos go bad is to sustain infinite growth of production. which is neither economically nor ecologically nor scientifically or geologically possible.
so our todays capotalism - may it suck or not - has NO future!
zero-growth which is ineviteble - is the end of capitalism as we knowit?
Just because a person is poor doesn't mean they are lazy or unmotivated, which means that not all of them are undeserving of help. What about the disabled war vets that can't get a proper job because they have physical and mental problems after war, fighting for us? What about the children born into poverty that won't be able to pay their way through college, through no fault of their own? What about the elderly who are abandoned by children that don't want to take care of them anymore?
@TigressWhite They dont care about that and gonna call you a godless commie anyway, they want to keep using the majority to increase their wealth in the name of freedom!.....THEY JUST DONT GIVE A SHIT ABOUT THE POOR
@ZaidAlabud So you would give up your freedom in the name of increasing-the-wealth-of-the-poor-such-as-me-myself. You're no better than those who you hate... And in addition you're an idiot.
@ZaidAlabud do you give a shit about the poor? when you see a homeless man, do you always give him money? Of course wealth concentration is a problem, but it's also inevitable. And standing on the street protesting it isn't the way to help.
@meckfes "when you see a homeless man, do you always give him money?" we dont have many homeless people here, we pay high taxes to benefit the society..... because people actually care in Sweden!!
@ZaidAlabud thats bullshit ive seen how u guys treaten ppl that comes from the east and wants to lve peacfull in your land, so dont tell that bullshit, i know what im talking about, norway!
@TigressWhite "What about the children born into poverty that won't be able to pay their way through college" I was born to a poor family in India, where my father made about 5000 RS./month (about $1200 per year). I, along with my brother, worked in a steel plant as a child to earn more money for my family. We couldn't afford books, but I would but paper/pens with whatever spare money I could get, and would sit in bookstores, copying down problems. I made it into a hedge fund, and a $550,000
@ishaan212 annual salary. Poverty is not an eternal state, through enough work one can raise themselves in economic position. My family could not afford running water, decent electricity (the power went out several times a day), or enough food. I am now in the 1%.People here complain about making 10-20X as much as we did, but still get welfare. We never received any support from the government, but I was able to elevate my position. Anyone can raise their social standing, all it takes is work.
@ishaan212 I couldn't agree more. I was also born in the poorest of the poor regions in a third world country, but my family worked hard to make it to the US. Poor third world immigrant families succeeding in the US is quite common. They've experienced extreme hardships and are willing to go through so much to pave the way for their future generations. They also take advantage of the fact that in the US some jobs, such as sectors of health care, have shortages and readily hire with stability.
@xicyhailx my point was death is death no matter how you die!! + do you know how many children die of starvation all over the world?? 15 million every year , while some goverments dumps food in the ocean!!
I don't find a problem with this at least they weren't a bunch of hippies going to extremes to prove a point. America isn't made up of 99% lazy jobless college graduates. instead of ranting in streets try to get a job, that is why you are now in so much trouble.
great video !, sad reality. I have seen members of the one percent at occupy wall street protests raping the mental capacity of the poor and homeless participating there, when i tried to leave a post explaining the problem it censored me and wouldn't allow me to post to these videos.
@chad3232132 wow did you just say Romnet 2012? hahahah he does not give a fuckin shit about you lol...romney...really? either you are super rich and voting for him to get tax breaks or you are just stupid for voting for him lol
I can propose a simple solution to America's problems. CUT SPENDING! This way, nobody needs to pay more taxes! Dismantle the EPA, aka a huge waste of money! Privatize Social Security! Don't get rid of, but instead budget less money, for social welfare. Let the free market do it's thing. Quit listening to Obama. When campaigning in 2008, he said a 9 Trillion dollar dept is unpatriotic. 4 years later it's rounding to 16 trillion! Wow.....an 18 year old kid just solved all of your problems! :)
@12Artleye get rid of the EPA: people protest the lack of government action against environment issues, pollution increases, EPA is forced to reopen, clean-ups are needed to help the environment. valuable resources are lost.
if you privatise Social Security, WHERE DOES THE MONEY COME FROM? The private company isn't getting FICA tax money, because they arent part of the government.
money is worth LESS, meaning you have to increase the budget later & free market spending goes down.
@12Artleye I'll apologise in advance if that last comment was a satire...
It sounds like you really know what you're talking about there. It's a fantastic idea you have, to just stop money circulating altogether! Not only will you erradicate the majority of jobs in the country, but you'll also deface the dollar and caues the US economy to stall.
It's a shame people don't take more notice of the endless supply of opinionated morons that dominate the over expectant, hard-working tax payer.
@12Artleye The rise in deficit has been steady ... we had a surplus and an economic boon under clinton ... Also, the EPA is necessary, it regulates businesses that affect the environment and ensure they don't cut corners and end up damaging local communities. Also, with the increase of older americans, higher costs in social security is unavoidable ... privatizing it will solve nothing but allow the poor to be thrown off the wagon and for politicians to say "it wasn't us". thanks but no thanks
@SuburbanScourging "I hate rich people, they don't deserve what they have."
Are you serious? I grew up in a family in India where my father and I worked in a steel plant. We couldn't afford running water, or electricity, so obviously books were out of the question. I would sit in bookstores for hours copying down problems to do at home. Through hard work alone, I managed to get into a great college, and was hired by a hedge fund 3 years ago.If others can't do the same, they're the ones to blame
Furthermore, talk of Plutocracy is absurd. We still follow the constitution which gives the power to representatives that DO what they PEOPLE tell them to do. Is it possible that the rich are more often than not elected to these positions and also able to influence their decisions somewhat? Sure! BUT if congressmen don't do as the majority want, they lose their jobs and the people vote for someone new! That is A DEMOCRACY!
@BaronLarke - You are a part of the 1% if your income is around $350,000. Last time i checked, that is not absurdly wealthy. If you look at concrete facts about the Bush Tax Cuts, you will see that they make America's tax system even more progressive. That is to say it was created to make the tax burden continually decrease as one's income decreases. In addition, 1% is already paying 30%, the proposed tax would take it to be >40%, which is a substantial amount that WOULD scratch the standard
@12Artleye The additional tax law actually applies to people who make $200,000 a year, I'm not sure if they fall in the 1%, but households making that much or more will have additional taxes.
@12Artleye no, they pay 15-30% that is a big difference there ... Also, the bush tax cuts did nothing of what you speak, they just cut taxes irresponsibly. Tax brackets do what you were referring to and I'm pretty sure they've been there for a bit.
The problem is not how hard people work! I don't have a problem with rich people. The problem is Wall Street becoming so involved in politics that it manipulates the government with money to pass legislation that makes wealthy people even wealthier at the expense of the rest of the population. There should be a division between the banking system and risky business ventures on Wall Street, but there isn't, and you can thank Bill Clinton for that. Deregulated capitalism led to the collapse
@luckyshiningstar101 of 2008, and people are still screaming for no government intervention in the market. There needs to be rules, or else wealthy people will only be concerned about making money at any expense, like banks lending out mortgages to people who don't have money to pay them off just so that people on Wall Street can make more money themselves. Capitalism becomes corrupt when there are no rules to ensure a large wage gap will not be created because of greed. I think Americans
@luckyshiningstar101 should vote for a candidate who enacts legislation that is similar to the Glass-Steagall Act that was repealed in 1999. It was signed by Bill - stick a cigar up a pussy - Clinton. Investment banking has to be separated from commercial banking, and there have to be conflict of interest prohibitions between investment bankers serving for commercial banks, or else greedy people on Wall Street will gamble the average persons money away on the market. Also, you can thank dirty
@luckyshiningstar101 Bush for passing tax cuts that favor the wealthy increasing their income astronomically while doing very little for the average person, and also for increasing foreign debt by starting useless wars at the expense of soldiers, and constantly borrowing money from foreign countries which are broken for the most part now. Obama wants to increase the debt ceiling so that America is in even more debt in the face of a looming default that will probably happen anyway affecting
@luckyshiningstar101 the credit rating of the nation. You guys are in bad shape, and if you're in bad shape, the Chinese will be in bad shape and we, the Canadians, will be in bad shape. Get your act together and vote for someone who wants to regulate capitalism like it was regulated from 1933 to 1999.
Funny, but on a serious note, occupiers ned to get a job, and rose through the ranks.they are the reason America is going downhill, they think they are to good to work. They are leaches.
BUT....they "CONTROL" the wealth. That doesn't mean that they earn that wealth annually. Much of that wealth is savings and equity from previous years. Wealth they would have had paid taxes on in the past but now control tax free. Statistics can always be skewed to to support whomever is using them. So when you see them, you have to look at them carefully and consider how they are being used to manipulate you!
The funny thing is, most people in America can obtain whatever they want if the put down the porn, drugs, alcohol, video games, tv remote, computer and excuses and go work. This 'fairness' does not make sense. Most people fail in society due to lack of desire, not opportunity. They like to blame others for their lack of respect.
BTW: Anyone in America who makes more than $35k/yr is in the world's 1%.
Occupy wall street is so stupid. Shutting down businesses because your in debt will only make the country go farther into debt. If you want to help the economy. BUY SOMETHING!
@JBshotJL YES! buy something MADE IN CHINA with a CREDIT CARD to create FIATMONEY that is invested in CHINA + FOUL SECURITIES. Then trash it 6 months later and to save tax money for recycling u ship it back to CHINA by burning even more OIL and this will work till the end of the universe cuz OIL and PLASTIC are magically recreated by GOD!
An economy based on consumption and profusion while not creating anythin else than digital deptmoney is a ONEWAY-CUL-DE-SAC! Get knowledge, dude!
I never said buy something from China. I never said buy it with a credit card. I never said buy something you throw away. And are you suggesting we fill landfills instead of recycle?
@JBshotJL if you recomend people to just "buy something" u make it worse if u not make it clear that they should know HOW to do it.
State of the union today: only 12% of jobs are in the industrial sector. The huge chains (WM costco target etc.) sell almost only cheap short-life crap from china
Silicon Valley Toxics Coalition: 90% of all electronic waste being exported back to china
And most Americans pay all that with plastic. Many ppl actually have more than one credit card oO!
You have to have fucking money to buy stuff! They are protesting because large corporations pay off politicians to vote a certain way or come out against certain pieces of legislature to gain illegal insider information. Also, why should politicians be able to obtain this information LEGALLY if the government would throw me in jail if I did it?
@DominatingNA Weren't they protesting about jobs? Can't politicians have the information because they were voted into that position? Are you saying "Marie Antoinette" because you assumed I was too young to realize you were referring to the girl who said the poor can't afford bread so can't they have cake? If anyone had internet to view my comment they can buy and sell.
@JBshotJL Well jobs = money, and there are no jobs sooooo...
I called you Marie Antoinette because your logic is similar to hers. Your answer to the economy is:
"Well if the economy is bad, then the poor should go buy stuff!"
That's actually remarkably similar to the logic of Antoinette. You're too myopic to realize that not everyone can. And just because one has access to internet doesn't make him rich. There are plenty of places where people can utilize public computers.
@DominatingNA Ok. Your right about the internet thing, but your missing my point entirely. I'm not saying "Poor people, buy something". I'm saying buy something as a general message to the public and yeah even if poor people bought stuff it would help the economy.
@JBshotJL Are you retarded? These people can't find a job, even though they have an education. They start protesting, because Wall Street simply refuses to hire anyone.
@victoneter "These people can't find a job, even though they have an education. They start protesting, because Wall Street simply refuses to hire anyone."
I had no problem finding a job, and was hired by a hedge fund, Millennium Capital two years ago. Its not as if I come from an extremely rich family either. In fact, just the opposite is true, I was born to family where my father (and myself, as a child) worked in a steel plant. It really isn't that hard to get a job.
@JBshotJL so to get ur self out of debt you need to get ur self further in to debt. Occupy wall street was about the bailout the banks got from the tax payers at a very low intrest with out our knowledge and the low tax they pay compared to there earning.
@JBshotJL How is it stupid when protesting corporations for buying politicians and such? and by protesting how they are killing the middle class while being kind to the rich.
@JBshotJL It's hard to buy things when your money is starting to become worthless. The real problem is the Federal Reserve, at this point printing money out of nothing inflating the dollar to insane proportions. Until this is taken care of "BUY SOMETHING." Won't do sh!t.
@KurzLuppii i suggest you watch some videos by milton friedman, an nobel prize winning economist. His videos do a good job of explaining why capitalism is a good thing and why the idea of a fair AND free world is contradictory.
@Russian2Kangaroo Capitalism is bad thing. In capitalism I can buy food, house only for money. I can get this money,, only if I give something in return (skills, energy, time, knowledge etc.) This system sucks in it's core. I am human being. I feel pain. I feel hunger. I want all these things (food, house etc) without giving something in return. Why I dont recive all those things, just because I am? Why goverment dont give me money, just because of fact that I am human being?
@jaadrian25 There are bilions of resources on planet earth. There is bilions of tons of wood. Why goverment simply dont give out food and houses for everyone? Mby goverment dont care about us?
@3rdMayhem How much time has passed after I came out of birth canal is irrelevant. What'ss important, is that we dont live in perfect world. For this mechanism to functionate, people must do something-work. I believe that there allready is high enought technologys to make 90% of work automatic and I believe that there are enought resources to subtain good life's quality for everyone.
@GamerEnterprise hmm seems were on the same side... i just was stunned cuz u wrote that the govt should just care + give every1 wood+food like the typical low-IQed pseudo socialists. I once wrote a huge german blog about econ./technol. progress, total automatization, the elimination of gainful work and capitalism and how that could work. U wont need money as medium of exchange nymore, wont need overprodction. but much more restriction. so u right. but It's way more comlex!
@3rdMayhem yeah but if everything will become automatic, capitalism will die. Capitalism functionate on principle that you recive stuff in exchange of work. If there is o more work, then basically you are asking goverment to give you stuff for free.
@GamerEnterprise since this kind of autonomous construct, only existing to supply us, would be eventually public property, administered by the government... yea true. But receiving everythin for free means there has to be a lawful limitation for material wealth, even with advertised affluence and demand-creating comercials all gone.
7 billion people, all livin in 350 sqm houses with each owning 200kg of clothes, 3 fridges, 8 TVs and 7 cars?? total no-no
@GamerEnterprise umm mate, your not understanding what you are saying... if you just 'want' these things there are other people that have to work to get you those things so if everyone wanted to be like you, you wouldnt get anything because there is no one to get it for you
@GamerEnterprise So what your saying is that we should give stuff to you, rather than someone who has contributed to society? Feed you, give you shelter, so you can sit around all day? While someone like say, a doctor, or even a teacher gets the same amount as you, when you do nothing?!!! You cannot be serious. No system is perfect. But what logical economic system can you propose that is better? Something that benefits more people than capitalism?
@wissinz "Communism > Capitalism " Seriously? The problem with Communism is that people under Communist rule do not strive to excel. Just look at Cuba. A neuroscientist there is paid the same as a doorman for a hotel. Why would any sane person aspire to go into neuroscience, when they can make the same money for less work? There needs to be some reward for hard work and applying one's skills, and that reward is absent in Communism,
@wissinz Look at history and see how that has worked out for people. Seriously, go on I dare you. Find more flaws in Capitalism than Communism instead of just stating, "Communism > Capitalism". I am willing to debate this with you. Let us begin our duel, sir!
@WAXstudios No. You are clearly fanatical about capitalism, and have been culturally socialized into thinking its a superior economic system, when in reality it promotes income inequality and plutocracy.
@WAXstudios Socialism. Capitalism is fueled by self promotion, whereas in Socialism all contribute to society from love for others- not for the self. To deny Socialism, or any other system that brings equity to live, is to say that you justify the death and suffering of people, born into socioeconomic class, resulting in a caste like system that runs our society- not everyone has equal opportunity, and to call the impoverished lazy is ignorant; there is no moral justification for selfishness.
@argonathdvd Thing is with Socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money. If everyone earns the same amount then there is no incentive for following a complex career path. It will very quickly collapse on itself with no motivation. With capitalism, although you are right about self-motivation, you have the incentive to do well and succeed, whereas if everything was handed out to you, you can just sit around all day and never contribute to society.
@WAXstudios read the posts man he yust said - - that WE can be capable to create an technological enviroment that can provide US with "stuff". so basically we'd make machines - not people - to give us what we need and want (really WANT! not what we r TOLD to want!). but i see that you dont understand this, cuz i read your posts and i measured your level of economic indoctrination by them. you glorify capitalism in the same way many russians glorified communism before the end of ussr
@WAXstudios investigate the Resource Based Economy after you have realised that we are all humans and are all a part or one consciousness. think about it
@WAXstudios Why do you think all of the 99% are lazy people who sit around all day playing COD or watching youtube? Seriously we are also the hard working people who just wanted to earn for a living...what we demand for is a better education system, health care system so that our life wont be that harsh...
@CrazySoon9413 cuz a fuckload of deluded americans think the current unregulated liberalized version of capitalism is SO superior that it gives opportunity and prosperity to EVERYONE. So that we just have to WANT it and work hard. This way declaring all hungry, poor or jobless people as being lazy or stupid is the only way of explaining their existence without questioning their own blind faith in the superiority of their economic model
@WAXstudios Rich people often proclaims themselves as hard-working people while all of their workers has to work OT everyday? Nevertheless rich people always breaking the law by doing alot of tax evasion, and bribery for their illegal business like smuggling, and drug/human trafficking ....
@WAXstudios Someone on welfare isn't going to live like a doctor but consigning people who right now cannot find steady employment, feed their kids and afford basic medical care is calous and damn-near barbaric
@GamerEnterprise What you are describing seems to be very close to Communism. Communism DOES NOT WORK. Nobody gives a fuck in a communistic economy. Why try when not trying provides the same result?
@dyang707 Here are some facts! He made 20 some million dollars from investments. Investments are not taxed via the income tax because it is not income from a job. Investments are taxed at about 15%. When he made big money many years ago running private-sector businesses, he was paying upwards of 40% taxes. If they want to raise the 15% tax on investments, that is going have detrimental effects on the markets, as less people will invest.
I don't know about most americans, but I've heard many hate the idea of anything that pertains to communism. The hypocrisy is outstanding. Analogically speaking, the fat man got too fat. At least they're starting to wake up a bit.
i think tax is all bullshit we shouldnt have to pay the government for everything we buy..right now im getting taxed 47% of my pay...quite frankly i think the government can go fuck themselves...im struggling to earn my money and these fuckers are taking half of it...im sick of this shit

Anyone can raise their social standing, all it takes is work.
ishaan212 2 weeks ago
@ishaan212 I couldn't agree more. I was also born in the poorest of the poor regions in a third world country, but my family worked hard to make it to the US. Poor third world immigrant families succeeding in the US is quite common. They've experienced extreme hardships and are willing to go through so much to pave the way for their future generations. They also take advantage of the fact that in the US some jobs, such as sectors of health care, have shortages and readily hire with stability.

12Artleye 3 weeks ago
@12Artleye get rid of the EPA: people protest the lack of government action against environment issues, pollution increases, EPA is forced to reopen, clean-ups are needed to help the environment. valuable resources are lost.
if you privatise Social Security, WHERE DOES THE MONEY COME FROM? The private company isn't getting FICA tax money, because they arent part of the government.
money is worth LESS, meaning you have to increase the budget later & free market spending goes down.
JFluffyful 3 weeks ago

BUT if congressmen don't do as the majority want, they lose their jobs and the people vote for someone new! That is A DEMOCRACY!
12Artleye 3 weeks ago
@BaronLarke - You are a part of the 1% if your income is around $350,000. Last time i checked, that is not absurdly wealthy. If you look at concrete facts about the Bush Tax Cuts, you will see that they make America's tax system even more progressive. That is to say it was created to make the tax burden continually decrease as one's income decreases. In addition, 1% is already paying 30%, the proposed tax would take it to be >40%, which is a substantial amount that WOULD scratch the standard
12Artleye 3 weeks ago
@12Artleye The additional tax law actually applies to people who make $200,000 a year, I'm not sure if they fall in the 1%, but households making that much or more will have additional taxes.
Cfaves 3 weeks ago

Deregulated capitalism led to the collapse
luckyshiningstar101 3 weeks ago
@luckyshiningstar101 of 2008, and people are still screaming for no government intervention in the market. There needs to be rules, or else wealthy people will only be concerned about making money at any expense, like banks lending out mortgages to people who don't have money to pay them off just so that people on Wall Street can make more money themselves. Capitalism becomes corrupt when there are no rules to ensure a large wage gap will not be created because of greed. I think Americans
luckyshiningstar101 3 weeks ago
@luckyshiningstar101 should vote for a candidate who enacts legislation that is similar to the Glass-Steagall Act that was repealed in 1999. It was signed by Bill - stick a cigar up a pussy - Clinton. Investment banking has to be separated from commercial banking, and there have to be conflict of interest prohibitions between investment bankers serving for commercial banks, or else greedy people on Wall Street will gamble the average persons money away on the market. Also, you can thank dirty
luckyshiningstar101 3 weeks ago
@luckyshiningstar101 Bush for passing tax cuts that favor the wealthy increasing their income astronomically while doing very little for the average person, and also for increasing foreign debt by starting useless wars at the expense of soldiers, and constantly borrowing money from foreign countries which are broken for the most part now.

A neuroscientist there is paid the same as a doorman for a hotel. Why would any sane person aspire to go into neuroscience, when they can make the same money for less work? There needs to be some reward for hard work and applying one's skills, and that reward is absent in Communism,

@WAXstudios Socialism. Capitalism is fueled by self promotion, whereas in Socialism all contribute to society from love for others- not for the self. To deny Socialism, or any other system that brings equity to live, is to say that you justify the death and suffering of people, born into socioeconomic class, resulting in a caste like system that runs our society- not everyone has equal opportunity, and to call the impoverished lazy is ignorant; there is no moral justification for selfishness.
argonathdvd 2 weeks ago
@argonathdvd Thing is with Socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money. If everyone earns the same amount then there is no incentive for following a complex career path. It will very quickly collapse on itself with no motivation. With capitalism, although you are right about self-motivation, you have the incentive to do well and succeed, whereas if everything was handed out to you, you can just sit around all day and never contribute to society.
