@onethugliife yes you do, you just need to go into settings ---> general ---> accessibility --->turn custom vibrations on ---> go back to sounds on the settings menu ---> scroll to the bottom to vibration patterns---> click create new vibration

I tried through iTunes on my IMAC but all my contacts are not in and for some reason they are scattered and if they call it looks as if I didn't save their info. URRGH but thanks again!

You can activate that 'vibration thingy' by: Settings> General> Accessibility> And Switch on Custom Vibrations. Than you can follow the same steps as FuriousTechnology Btw. srry for bad english Im Dutch..

@ASHJUMA007 I had the same problem but I found I had to turn on Custom vibrations. Go to Settings/General/Accessability­/Hearing/Custom Vibrations OFF/ON

-For iPod Touch 4g: hold home button for voice control

-You highlight text, hit select, you can make your device speak the highlighted text :)

@msidhom30 I had this problem too and then found out you need to go to settings>general>accessibility and scroll down to custom vibrations and turn it on first. Then you can go into contacts and set a custom vibration as the video shows above :)
