She didn't have to "reinvent" herself like others because she continues to be what she is excellent in: RNB.
Pinoys are so caught up on trying to beat one another and "who can sing this person's song higher." Stop trying to say one is better than Beyonce, Mariah, Celine, etc. and start improving on your own unique vocals because in the end, you are second to B, Mariah, and Celine. Create a name for yourself and then OPM will improve and get popular. Charice literally is one in a million and now has her own "sound." Kyla, Sarah, and many others should do the same and we should support not hate.
this is the main reason why OPM will never be international like KPOP or JPOP. Unlike Korea and Japan, Filipinos compare and bash on each other instead of appreciating talent. They don't say "A sings this better than B" they respect each other. Kyla's good. . but in terms of being a star Sarah G.'s way ahead of her!
people should realize that even though some say that Sarah looks angry when she sings that's just because she's giving her all out.
no matter how she looks that really doesn't matter as long as she conveys the feelings and emotions the song is all about!
i'd rather be a fan of a singer who looks angry when singing but justifies the song than be a fan of a singer who tries harder to emote on cam and be all cutie cutie!

Kyla's version made it very RNB.. This is what you call soulful.. This is a cover or version of her own. Sarah's was not a version, it's called IMITATION. She copied everything from breathing styles to dynamics.. It's very copycat.

At lagi ko na yan iviview nang iviview para dumami ang number of hits. Ganun lang naman yun. Kyla may have lesser viewers but im pretty sure those numbers consist of loyal fans. We love kyla for who she is, and what she's capable of, flaws and all, masaya na kami na pinapanood namin sya sa tv and sa youtube, ganun lang kami kasimple kasi napakasimple ring tao ni kyla.
