I must confess that I do not know much about BBS but to me that was as exciting as a bowl of musical blancmange. I don't use this site, but you can always send a personal message
if you want to start a barbershop, you need a tenor 1, tenor2 barritone and a bass. all are very important. then get your guys or girls to sing the right harmonies and you'll sound like a barber shop quartet, then if you want more harmonies, then just get more people and it'll sound great. its hard, ive been in one (i was tenor 2) there you go Encoreforrock
The only reason some people think their chords aren't locking, it's all the sound quality... It's pretty good for, whatever it was recorded on, but it's not perfect guys, so keep the "I've heard better" Debates away.
wow very good..and there chords did lock you retard...there the 2006 CHAMPIONS if you didnt get that :/ which means they did the best job..like to see you do better :P
Too much talk. Don't do a long intro unless your extremely funny. Poor song selection. Way too many words and the harmony and chords are poorly written. Your not tuning. The chords sounded clustered. Each singer must find the perfect center of each pitch. When you work on intonation and learning your notes to perfection, the chords will lock. Tightly locked chords creates the sound that quartet singing is all about.
look i see everyone getting into you for this up more recently, but i think i agree, these guys chords arent great, i sing in a barbershop, not any where near as good as these guys obviously, but these guys really arent brilliant.
Ladies and gentleman...BrotherBlood101, a typical conceited american. Can I point out that the "european people" are your ancestors as well? If anything, Americans sound like Europeans when they sing. =)
Yes...this SONG is marvelous indeed! And you all sound amazing. Barbershop Quartets are my favorite! I like some of the disonance in this song--marvelous!
congratulations on the great video shoot - Very Helpful!

This is a message for all men, disregarding the Bass of Keepsake.
Watch barbershop.
Do not sing it.
There were a couple oldies in that cortet, and their voices definitely showed for it. Bad performance.

Please call the tenor 2 the lead....it's a lot less confusing.
jkulins2 3 years ago 4
Not only less confusing, but correct!
The tenor II is always called the lead when reffering to barbershop!

everyone's s critic.
Let's here YOU sing a barbershop quartet.
runescapelover67 4 years ago 2
The problem with being a critic is that you have to be absolutely perfect yourself.
Let's look at the word "your" (you use it incorrectly twice)...
The word "you're" short for "you are" is perhaps more appropriate.
plumbarb 4 years ago 2
An absolute fallacy if I've ever heard one. Have you not heard the saying, "If you can't do something, criticize it"?
