it works just fine(no bugs) on windows 7 ( ultimate)

i have one problem( i know i choosed a weapon with limited ammo) but...for a time(the first mission part 2) i remain without fire(gun)...i press the fire button(LMB) but nothing...the rockets still work(until 3rd part) and i remain without weapons...how can i fix this...

The only thing that stops me from getting this game is this question: Does it feature 3rd person like Freelancer?

yes it does.

i recorded it in first-person, because i use to play freelancer first-person.

i played the full version last week, . . . for a little bit.  i got bored with it pretty fast.

So, is Tarr Chronicles not worth it? I hated FL in first person, dude, it was very uncomfortable. What I loved, though, is that all the guns worked like turrets, not like... aeroplanes where you can only fire forward, you know? Can you only fire forward here?

pure freelancer, why didn't they name it Freelancer 2?

First it's not the same people who made Freelancer and second it's not the same style (This is storyline driven and focuses on combat, I don't even know if it's possible to trade anything at all) This is more like Freespace 1/2, a much better predecessor.

Freespace 2 was the best space-sim ever made. This one looks like it may surpass X3 and Freelancer, but it wont push FS2 off its podium. Nothing ever will, save Freespace 3, and that will never come. Hence, FS2 will always be on the podium. ^_-

I have both Freelancer and Freespace and prefered Freelancer, it was a true space game. However I believe Freelancer and both Freespace games share the 1st place podium for best Space game. Although coming to think of it Homeworld 1/2 should also be with them.

yeah, you don't get the sense of speed like you do in other space sims, most notably Freelancer.
