  • The only bad thing about NIN is that it, for some unknown reason, physically makes my stomach churn....I listen to it anyway... :)

  • This ones for you anchor

  • 鳥肌がスタンディングオベーションした

  • "we will never die..." yes! NIN will never die! :D

  • MJK and Trent did the super group that ended kinda fast called Tapeworm

  • NIN forever

  • One of the few bands that are actually better live than on a CD.

  • @hicsumfabulalepus but the production quality on their last 3 studio albums were phenomenal, especially the SACD mixes. It's like aural porn penetrating the soul!

  • Great song.

  • It is fantastic, song, band, all!

  • Praise the Lord!

  • @BrandonsParkour which one?

  • @jishblaster TRENT of course...

  • Dam i missed out on this; this vid always gives me the shivers. Awesome band.

  • a NIN concert is like a trip where you don't need any drugs to get high! You just need to hear the music and watch those guys doing their job on stage......

  • the bigest band in the world...still

  • One of the greatest songs ever written.

  • @severyn1982 You just put it here

  • @severyn1982 and yet you did

  • speechless..

  • Happy fathers day dad R.I.P.

  • ooh we will never die....

    ooh....we will never die.......

    beside you in time.

    in time. in time.

  • the last part of the song is Epic!!!

  • trippy ass song

  • That is the coolest thing I have ever seen, why is he not touring anymore for the love of god why?!?!!?!

  • @miceskin Because every day was exactly the same... now he is a daddy, and I can appreciate his choice to stay home.

    ;)

At least I made it to a show before he shut it down. Look up the tony hawk interview of Trent for more insight on what he's thinking...

  • To my Special Man

I will be beside you before long

In the meantime I will keep listening to and loving this song and thinking of you.

  • What a voice this guy has. THIS is talent. Not the Britney Spears, autotuned pop shit! NIN, Tool, Puscifer, Renholder! It's THESE artists that have talent. A gift!

And Tool and NIN should collab! Heck, they could make an album and I'm sure it would be voted "Best album ever created by anyone ever!"

  • @DrunkenLeprechaunPro check out potions by puscifer

  • @TheKreamDream

Yeah. Also A Perfect Circle's "Passive" is also a Reznor & Keenan collaboration. But I'd like to see Puscifer make an album with Trent. Would be pretty awesome. I'd buy it.

  • @DrunkenLeprechaunPro They did, for years, it was called Tapeworm - nothing was ever released, they didn't think it was good enough. In all honesty, I've never thought Tool were at all interesting or impressive, with you on NIN, though, obviously.

  • @romeosdistress

We can agree to disagree about Tool, but bringing a prog metal sound to a more industrial rock sound would be pretty cool... added to the fact that MJK and Trent are brilliant producers and creative geniuses, I'm sure it would be a huge success.

  • just wow is all

  • The BYIT show (they filmed my show for the DVD) was my first NIN experience and ultimately made me into a fan. I managed to see them nearly ten more times including the farewell show at the Bowery. Miss 'em already

  • oh my, I Wish i had enjoyed this! :( .. love it.

  • I'm going to die to this song...montage of preparing and hitting some black tar...and when the song tempo kicks up...that's when I OD and die...

  • i remember this concert, it was one of the best NIN performances i have ever been to.

  • Amazing !! And is that a Doctor Who theme i hear in the background there? hella sounds like it :D

  • I remember seeing this Live when they came to my home city, same stage layout and everything. This had to be the best concert I had been to, musically and visually.

    I'll remember it forever.

    Thank you Trent.

  • i've only went once to the yearzero tour and HOLY FUCK my brother had won a contest on a calgary radio show for two floor seat s me and him hugged the rail the entire show both had bruised ribs afterwards but the effects blew my mind i love the playin the rain instrumental they did

  • 14 people need to stick the dislike thumb in their a**.

  • thats one of the most incredible song endings ever

  • I can think of the words to describe how awesome this is. This music puts me in awe.

  • Easily my favorite concert of all time. One of my first too. Its weird to think I was twelve then hahaha. Remember it like yesterday

  • orgasmic

  • I miss my favourite band.

  • Beggining at 3:01, I believe this is where the song starts showing what's up!!!

  • I had chills for for the rest of the song starting after 3:00. Seriously. If I could only have been there....

  • cant.....handle.....the..awesomeness!

  • I remember seeing this live in 2005... I shit my pants.. No it's all cool, I made sure I was wearing a diaper.

  • 4:06 Just effing WOW!

  • seen this tour and song...amazing

  • Such a fucking beautiful song.

  • and on... and on... and on... NIN4EVR

  • and on... and on... and on... NIN4EVR

  • dude this dvd + rolls + my ex which i loved at the time = heaven on earth icould only hope heaven is as good as watching this dvd rolling balls with sum 1 i love

  • pure genius

  • The only thing that pisses me off is that they never were in the Czech Republic... If they showed up here, I wouldn't hesitate:) By the way, did they ended or is How to Destroy Angels only a temporary project?

  • I would say NIN has to be the most underappreciative band (or person lol ) of all time.

  • @Manano09 you mean under-appreciated? lol

  • @iwillneverpostavideo yep lol forgive me for my sloppy grammar xD

  • @Manano09

I'm not trying to be and Asshole or attack you in any way but don't you think that's a Rediculous assertion to make. LOTS of people had NIN Stickers on their cars back in 99 when I was younger. Trent and NIN have been very well *appreciated* indeed.

They might not be as Much of a Household name as The Beatles but he's made tons of f'ing money and has tons of f'in fans WorldWide.

  • I agree. Lights in the Sky tour was fantastic, it blew my brains away, better than Roger Waters' "Dark side of the Moon" tour, hands down.

  • 4:06 Very Cool :O

  • genius performance.. =)

  • Wow, the effects at the end of the song are stunning O_o

Damn it! Wish I was a few years older so I could have caught them for more than 1 show on their final tour = /

Ah well, better than none I guess :-)

Defo my fav song off the beside you in time DVD

  • ive been to a few concerts in my life, (never any NIN cuz he retired while i was young) but i have never seen or heard effects as great as this, this defines industrial rock music.

  • @Boowey116 He only retired last year

  • This song. GOD DAMN!!

  • NIN was and still is the best show i've ever been to. it was so fucking amazing.

  • This song sounds so much cooler live

  • Comment removed

  • Genius!

  • this song, along with other NIN songs and a bunch of other 90s artists, helped me through my 9th grade year, when i was a bitchy depressed kid who nobody liked. strangely though, in a way, i miss that year.

  • @ledzeprocks21 Same here , i think NiN has stopped allot of people killing them selves( me ) by giving them something to hold onto ( music )

  • Is it just me or it does sound a bit like Doctor Who theme?

  • @redfoxonstilts I hear it too, it plays softly in the background....

  • Its like watching a quiksilver river flow and shatter

  • THIS IS THE BEST SONG BY NIN

  • @DarkCrusade3 maybe off the album... but you can't say ever. You must not have heard of Just Like You Imagined or anything off of the Downward Spiral

  • I sing this song every night because my moms died a week a go... i miss her so much

  • @paynekiller1231 My Mom just died too and NIN helped me through the rough spots.......... take care of yourself.

  • @fartmagnet true poetry from FARTMAGNET

  • @paynekiller1231 you hang in there, kiddo.

  • @paynekiller1231 sorry for your loss... from one NIN nut to another .....

  • @paynekiller1231 Sorry for your loss. But dont pout about it over the internet where trolls like me lurk.

  • @AtychiphobiaFAIL Perhaps you forget, "trolls like you" don't matter in the slightest...

  • @paynekiller1231

Don't know you but saw this post and noticed a year has passed.

    You doing ok?

  • @paynekiller1231 id just like to say that i feel your pain and i know cause my mother died too.these are more than just words strung into sentances in these songs, they are feelings and memories that act as pain killers for us all.

  • @paynekiller1231 a year later... still im so sorry

  • Why is it that there always has to be some guy that throws some useless ass comment in stating that he had some CD back in the day and was listening to it before anyone? neo1mantra.... you are stupid. Some people weren't old enough to have it back then because they wouldn't have known what it was nor would they have cared. How about this... I'll bet some poser had "Pretty Hate Machine" before you! And was tainting it all up and down with his listening skills...mmmm. You're stupid.

  • Just like the concert i went to when with the teeth tour was happening, and to this day still the best damn show i've ever seen. Trent is a genius. It gives me chills just remembering singing with him as I watched the glass break effect happen it was amazing. I'll never forget it.

  • reminds me of a Tool show

  • I will be beside you be-fore long

  • 4:05 in - Hoooooly freaking shit. That might be the coolest thing I've ever seen.

  • Does anyone know where I can get an audio copy of this concert? I have the DVD but would love to have a copy to listen to in the truck.

This song and "know what you are" are insane live.

  • @txmetal34 if you're tech savvy trying using VLC media player to extract audio from a DVD. I believe that should be possible.

  • @txmetal34 you can find a copy of this entire show on isohunt if you know how to work with torrents

  • @txmatel34 it was even better actually seeing them Live.

  • The sickest visuals I have ever seen.

I fucking love Nine Inch Nails!

  • this is so magic, especially from 3:00

    love With Teeth

  • TRENT YOU'RE SOOOO STEAMY!

  • Trent Reznor and NIN is the only band I have followed from first album all the way through.

  • "WE WILL NEVER DIE, BESIDE YOU IN TIME"

thats what my first tattoo is going to read...

  • astonishing

  • Ugh Trent you're so amazing.

  • "The veil has lifted."

  • as much as I love NIN this song completely disturbs me....

  • Why?

  • @mindstormsabrewin

Love the song,it just unsettles me for some reason. One of my best friends passed away the day I picked up With Teeth. Maybe that has to something to do with it. Between the shatter and the lyrics,it stays in my head long after I hear it.

  • Well "unsettling" is probably a good description of the song. Sorry to hear about your friend. That can throw a cloud over anything else happening at the same time. I find it to be a deeply mystical song. Very mysterious. Check out "solfeggio frequencies". That drone in this song has a specific tone. And a specific function. It doesn't just sound cool. He's done similar things in other songs. Reznor is exploring some deep concepts in his music. Hope he never stops. Peace.

  • that shatter effect is absolutely amazing

  • omg... just beautiful!!

  • I love the effects so much, especially the shatter effect with Trent's mic stand <3

  • fucking sick

    ima clap too<333

  • Fucking brilliant.

  • I've seen NIN upwards of 15 times but the Live: With Teeth, and Lights In The Sky tours nearly blew my mind.

I remember walking away from Live: With Teeth thinking, "What fantastic effects! How could you top that?"

And a year or two later walking away from Lights In The Sky thinking NIN just set the bar even higher.

Amazing band. Amazing shows, high tech or low tech. Easily one of the best and most important bands of our generation, and arguably for modern music in general.

  • I agree. Lights in the Sky was my first time to see them and I was amazed. I saw them three more times on the wave goodbye tour.

  • I have a friend that saw them and was disappointed, i just cant understand how you couldnt be blown away, i guess thats what they mean by art is subjective

  • your friend is just an idiot.

  • and also i hate the so called NIN traditionalists who generally dont like anything trents done since downward spiral or the fragile- its called artistic growth-when a person grows it should be reflected in their music-and it definately shows on his last 3 albums-love it trent-keep it up-we grow alongside you

  • @nursefrankenstein I had his Pretty Hate Machine in 1991 before any posers started liking NIN

  • @Virility You got that right!

  • @Virility i have seen them 3 tours... took my son 4 his high!school! graduation... 1 of the best days eva!!!

  • this should've been in donnie darko, it fits it A LOT...

I am all alone this time around

Sometimes on the side I hear a sound

Places parallel I know it's you

Feel the little pieces bleeding through

Now that I've decided not to stay

I can feel me start to fade away

Everything is back where it belongs

I will be beside you before long, and on

  • I remember when I went to see NIN back in 2007, I was only 15 and I had my school exams in the same day so i was a bag of nerves lol. But i'll never forget that day, it was def 1 of the best days of my life <333.

  • Even though i've never been a big fan of NIN, i love the way they do their live shows. Most bands have themselves being the center of attention but here the music is. It comes' alive in a whole other way

  • bloody brilliant!!! Don't you wish you had dreams like this??

  • Awesome

  • God damnit... My friend recently got me into NIN.. (Im a Tool man)

And i wanted to punch myself in the fucking face for not listening to them sooner... FUCK! Trent is a genius!

  • @XxExoNine

me too man, im a massive tool fan (paid $500 for 2 front row tickets to the dallas show lol) and just started really really getting into NIN.

  • The Light-Effects are very nice !!

    Trent is best man ever

  • i seen NIN twice on this WITH TEETH TOUR in 05 and i seen NIN twice on the LIGHTS IN THE SKY TOUR in 08.....and honestly its a hard call to say but LIGHTS IN THE SKY was way more bad ass tour overall but dont get me wrong so was With teeth! trent reznor and NINs light show only gets better and better!

  • haha tell e about it xD

  • When was this conzert?!?

Ich Hope before 1992, so i could say it is not my fault not being their, because I wasn`t born at that time :D

    Really cool

  • It was the 'With Teeth' tour in 2006.

  • Best show EVER!

  • Trent= legend!

  • holy shit that was so fuckin sick. WHY WASNT I THERE WHY!!!???

  • @wumpascott I was there :P

    Mwuahahahahaha

  • GREAT

  • bellissimo...

  • i tak bez końca uwielbieni=e dla tego kawałka

  • this is soooo amazing

I hope he isnt ending his tours i wanna go n see

    : (

  • this is quite possibly the most moving song Trent has ever done. a true gem. i intend to have the original blared at my funeral.

  • so fucking awsome

  • wow

  • awesome

  • Ive seen NIN on the last 3 tours and i must say Lights in the Sky was the best, truely stunning performance.

  • I disagree with that one there.

LITS looked the best, and I do miss Cortini. But admittedly, the LITS tour was a bit stale as far as setlists went. I was talking to a cameraman for these final 10 shows, NIN has prepared a total of about 100+ songs to play. Only THTF and HLAH will be played at all ten.

  • I think March of the Pigs was played in all as well..

  • Quite possibly. That is a real crowd pleaser, that one. I'm glad they did the whole..."Lets play The Downward Spiral thing" - Even if i wasn't there, it might be like...a bonus feature on the DVD when it finally comes out. My point is the same though. NIN only had about 60 songs for all of LITS. That was a world tour.

Ten shows with 100+ songs rehearsed is outrageous, even for NIN.

  • saw them yesterday. far less visuals, but still worth to see.

  • Comment removed

  • NIN FOREVERRRRRR

  • FOREVER YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

  • That was some awesome visuals I'm stunned. And of course NIN did it ;)

  • I'm going to see them in Manchester next week and again at Sonisphere!! Can't wait!

  • can't wait to see this kind of stuff live

  • glassfloor - unfortunately you never will

  • Free Iran.

  • cant wait to see this live in amsterdam!! :)

  • 4:06 wow

  • I know so sick! Awesome live

  • I know, right?

  • 3:00
