Brilliantly bitter, or bitterly brilliant. This poem makes me want to go have meaningless sex with a meaningless person. Earlier today I pondered how perhaps art elevates our purpose beyond food, feces, fornication and propagation of DNA. This poem makes me reconsider - perhaps it's not such a bad idea to go get laid once in a while...
This video rocks. The images are all well done and, when placed along side the audieo, really make for some solid irony, and also some straight-ahead awe and wonder. The poem itself is very clever, and is a product of the studious, enigmatic klipschutz, (with a small "k"). Viewers would do well to become familiar with the body of his work, which is humorous, dark, intelligent, twisted, well-crafted and all around good, clean fun for the well-read cynic.
