Awesome, but... when the guy doing the interview doesn't get the answer he wants (the leaning part) he asks the question again and again... that gets really annoying after a while. Lee Saxby is really awesome though. No BS or prestige what so ever...
Wonderful show - thanks for posting it on Youtube. I was recommended to watch Lee because I posted how I was trying to lean into my barefoot run more on Barefoot Savages Facebook forum. Now I know better cues to focus on (than leaning). I think it will be a paradigm shift - I didn't run for 18 years because of flat feet/plantar facia issues. But now I've been running barefoot for half a year - injury free. Who'd have thought I could being almost 50 years old?
At first, I maintained my heel striking. After a couple of slow walking/slow jogging sessions, I was able to consciously come down on the ball. After a couple of weeks of that I have found my foot coming down properly without thinking so much. Also, I have been able to shorten my stride so as to come down beneath my body instead of ahead of it. Today was the fantastic. I felt so good with the best technique in this, my second month, of barefooting it. No shoes, at all, on a treadmill.
