  • How much does a rookie motorman earn? Is it difficult to get hired?

  • Attack on London was a inside job to justify war on terror, on the day of London attack 10,000 CCTV cameras were switched off. click justice party UK.

  • 0:42 this must be old. they don't have that woman doing the anouncements anymore. and i swear that they've put a platform to the right of the train? acctually, don't worry. it looks like you pasted this on youtube in 2007. as i write this comment, they have improved a lot of things

  • i'm so homesick watching this video

  • @pierrejamieson why? did you used to live in stratford

  • i swear there is never any drivers... lol i cant ever see any in the cabs

  • lol

  • Lool look at the driver. getting the train started for two seconds then sitting back and relaxing lool. gotta love the central line and its operators ;) lol

  • is it iligal or something to film the tubes, because the most of the videos i found were filmed from the back

  • Love the London tube! it's sik

  • Love Stratford! Change here from the tube to nxea to go to chadwell heath when I travel there from down here. Great little place

  • Love stratford. Always change trains here from tube to nxea to go to chadwell heath whenever I travel from down here

  • Like the videos where everyone switches a Central Line Train for a National Express Train and everyone just goes mad switching trains

Stratford is a station to be in if you like train spotting.

  • Thats a 1992 stock?

  • Love ATO. but i still want to drive trains when i get older so i hope the dont become DLT

  • That Train Is Using ATO (Its Driving Its Self Automatically!),

    Good Video,

    nationalexpresshst

  • that train isnt using ATO, you can see the driver there.

  • There's always a driver. You can tell it's being driven automatically though because when it's on manual the drivers never judge the platform and braking distance properly first time. Not on the central line, anyway. Too used to "driving" it with their feet up.

  • @BlueMeteor2009 - The Central Line train operators must use ATO especially during peak times. The driver closes the doors once passengers have alighted and then engages ATO by pressing two buttons simultaneously. The train then drives itself to the next station and brakes as late as possible.

Whilst some people say a driver isn't needed, they are...ATP (automatic train protection) fails daily on these trains, they are needed to reset other equipment and to reassure passengers in an emergency!

  • @adal0323 ato?

  • Comment removed

  • @adal0323 OH REALLY? so does that mean i can just relax in the cab while the train drives for me, like DLR?

  • Comment removed

  • @adal0323 Ok. Thanx.

  • damn this train blasts off the station!

  • cool train looks like a worm....

  • You know that woman's voice? Lemme tell you a quick story. Me, my brother and my dad were waiting under a roof at manningtree (because our train to Dovercourt go delayed) It was raining and all of the sudden the girl oice was heard. But it went: plat... plat... plat... Neverendingly! XD

  • Hahah! :D

  • It's so there is easy interchange at Stratford. And yes, it has been like this since it was built.

  • No, I was reasting my cam on a wall

  • @gavelex these 1992 tube stock have 8 carriages on

  • i never noticed that bay platform everytime i get on the central line from stratford

  • lol it used to be that little thing called 'the DLR' :)

  • is that southbond train goin underground

  • how did you get beyond the platform?

  • I didnt, there is a bay platform that I was standing on.

  • I mean that the sound comes after the train comes.

  • Great shot. But I don't really understand where you were standing?

  • Walk towards the former DLR platform (4) from W/bound Central line and as soon as you go past the building to your left turn left and you will see.

  • Whats with the sound?

  • what sound?

  • thats a train coming in on the other Central line platform.
