@spurnthemuse Totally! I met them a few months back when they played local 506 in Chapel Hill and they are rad people as well as artitsts. You're right, the'r e definitely more interested in doing things their own way. As it should be.

@sawdust34 I am so jealous of you dude. Cotton Jones and Page France are totally my musical inspiration. I'm really disappointed I never got into Page France a long time ago like when their early stuff was available. Now it's impossible to find.
You know what I mean, lot of bands, "Oh! Do they like us? Are we doin any good? Should we do it differently?" But this band I get the feelin like, more interested in pleasin themselves than the audience. Which is good. I think. SPURN THE MUSE!!
At first (listenin to other sons by Cotton Jones) I thought, "I'm not goin to like this". But now, after a few, it's startin to grow on me. There is some kind of confidence here, that I like. Confidence. Like sayin, "take it or leave it, we don't care". SPURN THE MUSE!!
If this song was a potato

Great song, does anyone else see the similarity to The Black Keys' "Tighten Up"?

Yeah I definitely see it.
Both incredibly awesome songs.

And how about Howlin' For You sounding quite a bit like Gary Glitter's Rock'n Roll Part 2?
KillBrownFictionDogs 1 year ago
@Qber4life I was gonna say it kinda sounds like cold war kids. but it doesnt.
