Most babies don't like the sand that much, Lilia was sitting and playing with it! My friends baby will sit in the middle of the towel and not move an inch! He hates the sand.. That was his last time at the beach.. Lol..

I live in Germany (stationed here for military) There are beautiful lakes that are craters made by inactive volcanoes but its not fun to go bc it rarely gets above 60 all summer :( So I know how you feel.

I didn't realize you had to drive so far to get to the beach. I live in PA and it is about 90 minutes to the closest Jersey shore point/beach. She is growing so fast and a real little beauty.

Wow only 64 in Cali! It has been 100+ here the last week (PA) it is 1am here and it is 83, the coolest nignt we have had in 6 nights. The hear index is near 114 during the day. I always thought it was always warm where you are. You are allowed to have dogs on the beach? Not allowed on most east coast beaches. It looks like you had a great day.
