I was actually forced to work on this production when it cam through western PA, it was an unimaginable, utter - hell. I'd rather be forced to eat a raw milk steak than hear an ABBA song acted out in musical fashion. I've tried to think of something else that would bother and upset me more, and I can't. ABBA and this musical, are the two worst things that humanity has embraced.
@petunia4ever do u remember I wanted to see it? Well my parents took me to NY a week ago and gues what? I saw Mamma Mia,,,,,3rd row and it was sooooooooo amazing!
Had the extreme pleasure of seeing a 5th anniversary performance, in London.!!! Wonderful, beautiful, fantastic...Still, will never be able to compete with Les Miserables.:-)
I just saw the Broadway production a few days ago (with Heidi Godt (I think Carolee's understudy)as Donna).Heidi was amazing and much better than Meryl Streep in the movie.I also liked the two ladies playing Donna's friends.(they're WAAAAY funnier than the ones in the movie!)
The broadway version I saw in Portland, Oregon was AMAZING! I was a little disappointed in the movie, but Colin Firth was in it so I can't complain =P
I saw Mamma Mia in theaters and I absolutely fell in love with the show. A few weeks ago, I had a chance to see it on Broadway and I was so terribly disappointed. The music was so loud you could hardly hear the actors, who were not great themselves. It was horribly clunky and I was so disheartened.
watched in Manila yesterday, same costumes, same set ups, a few different cast but same awesomeness! :)

Ah no! Don't let that ruin your view on the live show. The west end production is AMAZING.
