  • At least the old asian women at 13:55 seem to agree.

  • There's no proof

  • @ThePeopleCourt - also I understood (for Judge Judy) the judgements do go on your credit report. Is that different here because the opening credits say 'the parties agreed to drop their claims in civil court'. It just occurred to me that Judge Judy maybe a better show in regards to the law if this is true i.e. The Peoples Court is just a 'show'?

  • @anaduci It only goes on your credit report if you don't pay the show back the money though, right? I mean, what if you paid the money? Nobody probably does that though.

  • @HashSmokerDude420

    she's a cute old lady :)

  • hahaha

this is better than the arguments i had back in high school about gossiping.

  • Ha ha! The plantiff is a dumbass for not checking his stuff immediately and admitting he has a Star Trek collection on TV. I bet his imaginary wife is upset about the whole thing,

  • This is totally unrelated to the case, but I turned on the snowflake action. After that, I moved to another window to complete a report. I opened the YT window 3 minutes later, and half of the video screen is covered in snowflakes!

  • Jeez, a boatload of collectibles and you hire homeless dudes? Hahah.

  • Well at least the defendant tried to put some homeless people to work for a day. I know that helped them out a little. Other than that I'm sure he did clip the stuff. Why do I feel that way I don't know, but I just feel he did.

  • Another Shit ruling but with that amount of evidence, what do you expect.

  • 8.03 and sooooo on. Haha, right corner. Is she almost sleeping?lol

  • That old Chinese lady behind the P has appeared on several episodes, always in the same seat and wearing the same orange top.

  • @judecreek2 I believe that they do several episodes a day. Could that be why? And I think she's Japanese. No offense.

  • Go Jets!

  • This case is so full of hearsay!

  • i think the lady in orange at the back needs to lean over n strech her neck a little bit more as shes not in camera shot n we cnt see her...:) oh n i think shes slobbering

  • wow a woo woo where can i get a beige waistcoat like that?do u think its custom made n a one off?jeeeze tha big guys got style:)shit im shallow today!!!!!just couldnt resist

  • Eddie Money showed up as a witness.

  • lady in orange @ 08:18 , hilarious

  • @JoFe2424 She's in other episodes, constantly popping out from the plaintiffs back and smiling at you in a creepy way.

  • you call that junk valuable?

  • @lollypop430 that might worth a lot of money to collectors

you can't judge the cost of antiques if you don't know their value in the collector market.

  • What happens when they go to criminal court? Can the judge order these elusive witnesses to appear, or could they still refuse?

  • teaches you not to be cheap, pay for professionals!

  • I kinda got bored of this case "He told me this, and i heard for this guy that blah blah" where is the case?

  • "Do you run records checks?"

"Yes. Well, no I don't have to."

So why'd you say yes then? Because your first instinct is to lie, like all pikies.

  • As a fellow geek with precious collectibles I'd NEVER let ANYONE PACK MY VALUABLE treasures. Much less when I can't even be there to watch! This guy truly did something stupid and unfortunately he's paying the price for his decision.

I'd be so pissed if someone stole my Transformers stuff. All that stuff is expensive.

  • We also say in Spanish . . . "el gas sale de la parte posterior", "no debe salir de la boca", "sin embargo, si se sale de la boca", "comer algunos dulces primera o desprenderá un olor muy, muy mal"!!!

  • Wow. That's some ugly, low-class white trash. Good god, I'd open extermination camps all over this country if I could.

  • @cuttock Not cool.

  • @cuttock - the government already did - they're called FEMA camps.

  • Always use a condom.

  • Plaintiff should have made a greivance earlier. To wait over one month to complain ..... Oh boy, no moving contract .....

Why don't people purchase insurance for irreplacible valuables before moving - or - better yet, drive it to the new home themselves?

  • You pay peanuts, you get monkeys. And "Some guy told me" is not evidence, you idiots.

  • OMG! How many years have these court shows been on the air?? 20?? And idiot plaintiffs STILL don't know that they have to come to court with a little something called, EVIDENCE!!! We are without a doubt the stupidest species on earth and I'm sure the only one that doesn't learn anything.

  • i get very suspicious when supposed witnesses won't sign affidavits or show up in court to testify. Adds weight to the theory that the plaintiff and his witness are full of shit. Thousands of other litigants come to court with signed affidavits , why would know one sign for these tow clowns? I, for one, don't believe a word of either of the 2 plaintiffs . . .

  • I agree with the majority - pisses me off that the show covers the cost of the losers fines...where's the punishment? Sure they make asses of themselves in front of millions but they can walk out of the court laughing knowing they don't have to pay a dime...even get a free hotel and meal out of the deal.

  • STAR TREK DAMAGE!!!!!! They need to be executed.

  • 13:41 onwards ...

She should be really careful of what she says, people can easily misinterpret "stuff" for something else

  • If your a felon, maybe you should not work in that type of department.

  • The defendants are shady!

  • @AmericanPowerBase At the end of every episode, a slide appears that says this:

"Both the plaintiff and the defendant have been paid from a fund for their appearance. The amount, if any, awarded in the case is deducted from this fund, and the remainder is divided equally between both litigants. The amount of the fund is dependent upon the size of the judgment."

  • A lot of chatty, gossipy people in that town.

    Thanks a bunch TPC!!!

  • So much Hearsay in this case, geez.

  • The D is a liar!!!

  • Wooo another one! haha

Wait does the court pay all the damages from the litigants whether the suit or counter suit goes through? They dont just pay legal fees?

  • @MegaFunkycat Yes, The People's Court covers it all. There is an amount of money that is used to pay the winning side their dollar amount, and the other side gets the remainder of that fund, if any. If neither side wins anything, they still split the dollar amount as incentive for appearing on the show.

  • @ThePeopleCourt ??? r u SURE??

  • @ThePeopleCourt

Where did you learn about this? I am just curious. Also, if that is so, why do some of the litigants get pissed when they lose their case?

  • @LudeandLude Because if they loose, that money it is taken out of the fund. They rest is split between the two. So if you loose you don't get much. Winner gets the amount sued for plus 1/2 of what's left.

  • @ThePeopleCourt Wow..really. They got nothing to lose then.

  • @ThePeopleCourt I dont like that, its like judge judy. It feels like its fake. What incentive do I have as a defendant to even try to defend myself.

  • @Volkovic7013 You'd be on International TV *and* on Youtube ;) Everyone will see you, including your family and friends.

If you don't care about your reputation or name at all, I can see why you think there's no point in even defending yourself.

  • @InnerSlayer Im just saying that there should be some detriment to a conviction. If it is determined by the infinitely wise (and hot) Judge Milian that I was in the wrong, then I should have to pay the verdict. Sure pay for them to be on TV (and youtube lol) but not their guilt

  • Comment removed

  • @Volkovic7013 @Volkovic7013 Because if you don't defend yourself, then you'll look guilty... and probably lose. There's no way people would agree to do this and not get rewarded in some way. Would you go on national television to possibly lose, get humiliated and possibly have everyone know you're guilty of who knows what for free? Of course not.

That's how they get the obvious guilty parties to agree. They'd never agree without money involved, but they'd risk it for some money.

  • @elvickRULES Im just saying that if you are determined to be guilty, then you should pay the damages. Sure get paid for being on TV but not have the production budget cover your guilt. Then there is no detriment to losing.

  • @Volkovic7013 I think looking like a completely scumbag on national television with everyone watching knowing that you're guilty of whatever is detrimental for a lot of people. The only way guilty people would even attempt to be on the show is if they were paid to be.

Why risk national exposure of your misdeeds AND needing to pay the judgment, with no benefit to you? Hardly anyone would agree to that.

  • @ThePeopleCourt thanks for clearing that up for me!

  • @ThePeopleCourt and thanks for uploading these videos too! :)

  • @ThePeopleCourt SSSOOOO,,,,,, free money?? I wanna sue my cat, then, for not cleaning its own litter box. And people in the US wonder why other countries hate us?? Would be a better country if the litigants were shot in the head as soon as they walk through the door on this show.

  • i think so
