4. Lullaby They are all fantastic but Choke is in the running for the best novel I've ever read, it's like being punched in the stomach, it doesn't hold back. It's certainly not for the lighthearted. Everyone should read it, and this movie looks like a poor excuse for an adaptation.

ok, i watched it after being a fan of fight club the film, never reading a palanuik but going to a reading of his once, and also being a fan of "i'm a sex addict," which deals with this topic much more realistically, and i just didn't like the movie. i tried watching the special features afterward to gain a better insight but it doesn't exist. It's a shame because a lot of these characters and situations could have been acted better, maybe I just don't think Sam Rockwell is anything special.

I can't imagine how the MPAA is going to let this one fly w/o butchering the novel. i just really hope the film doesn't dilute the philosophical questions that the novel posed in order to attract a wider audience with a more narrow thought capacity :P

The movie was amazing and incredibly faithful to Chuck's book. GO SEE IT RIGHT NOW IF YOU HAVEN'T YET! You'll hear Chuck's voice the whole way through, and you won't stop laughing.

The movie was amazing and incredibly faithful to Chuck's book. GO SEE IT RIGHT NOW IF YOU HAVEN'T YET! You'll hear Chuck's voice the whole way through, and you won't stop laughing.
