This is heretical. There's nothing more of a violation of God's word than grabbing the newspaper headlines and using world catastrophes and making them fit to scripture. Newspaper exegesis! There is no clear scripture on a one-world government, a 7year tribulation followed by a rapture and an individual antichrist that will slaughter millions of jews in the "last days". Peter uses "Thief" and so does Paul. They seem to be writing about the same event. But Peter goes further by writing that everything will be destroyed. Where's is there room for a 7 year trib?

Once again, this is not meant to glorify the destruction of the earth, nor necessarily attribute these disasters to God's judgement.

One might say we've only started documenting these events in the past 50 years or so and cannot speak for previous years, however it's the constant increase and severity in that 50 years that speaks for itself.
