I also live in Vancouver.Those who taser Mr.Dziekanski are Canada RCMP.Richmond Municipality is also under RCMP jurisdiction.Vancouver International Airport other Canadian airports are under RCMP jurisdiction.The Vancouver Police Department do not have authority on this matter, only the Canada RCMP.

Hi.i am a 12 year old in Grade 7.I cant believe it. the police shouldn't have acted so quikly,at least try calming the guy down at least.who knows what the guy's been through!if you ask me, i think that the police are kind of be racist and dumb AND I AM CANADIAN !I can't belive it. they are giving Canada (especialy Vancouver) a very bad reputation. if the whole entire world hears this (they probably have by now) they wouldn't feel safe to immagrate here, and we need more people.

When are police supposed to read a suspect his rights? Before or after he is dead? Somehow, Stockwell Day correct me if I am wrong, but aren't police supposed to read a suspect his rights, so that he knows what police are doing to him and why to give him a chance to cooperate with them or even to know he is under arrest?
