I cried at the end of this anime the first time I watched it... I feel so bad for Yaya and Tamao. I mean I prefer Nagisa was with Shizuma but Yaya and Hikari had history together, and Amane is SUCH a marry Sue Character! i think given the circumstances surrounding homosexual marriage, you are probably right. because its rounded up the etoile ceremony to look like a "couple for life" in a romantic fashion. so i imagine it was done like the etoile ceremony not a wedding to avoid controversy and anger, hence the almost blatant references. besides their age being young anyway :P

At first i thought this was some crazy anime porn show. But after 16 episodes it began to addict me, and i wanted to know why Shizuma likes Nagisa so much. The story was really superb. Overall the level was pretty high, but the show was sometimes "too cute" for my taste. But by all means, this was a pretty exciting show, that i won't forget so easily. Highly recommend!

@RodeAPanda242 Well there would be Maria-Sama ga Miteru (Marimite for short) There's no actual yuri but there's definitely some love in the air~ x3 It's a _lot_ like Strawberry Panic, happens in a catholic all-girl school, there's a school play involved (only this time it's Cinderella x) ), there's even similarities in how the main character wears her hair (or how it looks when it's down). The drawings are a bit more ''serious'', but there's the omake that's ''Chibi-style'', and really funny ^^

Tamao, being Nagisa's best friend knew whom she really loved, which is why she gave up in the end, rather than have Nagisa possibly stay with her out of pity/obligation. When Tamao welcomed Nagisa back at the end, the message I got was that Nagisa wasn't sure how to face Tamao after she admitted her true feelings, but Tamao went ahead and showed her desire to still be closer to her anyway.
