I kindda dissapointed with the gown... yes its nice with the glittering on her dress but its nt really the Miss Universe kindda gown.. N d colour purple, nt really miss universe colour.... She got wat it takes to be the new Miss Universe 2008 but the gown, doesnt allow her.. Miss India, If u read dis, pls change yr evening gown on the final day.... I'm 1 of yr supporter here... It does´nt matter what color dress she is wearing. The preliminar judges must be able to see beyond a dress, And select the right girl. I was sorprised she did´nt made it. I think that japan did´nt deserve the top 15. Italy neither, russia neither.

From my opinion, colour n design does play apart in evening gown... Especially in Miss Universe pageant... soft colours eg, white, like blue ocean colours, grey, are all miss universe colours... n the design shld be simple n elegance.... but for miss india, she made the wrong choice.... I'm surprised either... she doesnt even mke it to the top 15.... wat an embarassment.... the thing is.. she make the cut in top 5 in the vinpearl swimsuit n ao dai fashion show n top 10 in traditional costume...

I think wat makes her doesnt make it to top 15 is either her gown or her interviews.. i'm sorry to say i dun really into her voice... is kinda timid.. she sound like a small kid... i'm sorry to say dis but its reality.. to be miss universe, u nd to be a gd spoke person... with the kind of voice she has... its a turn off....

I think they went with a very loose gown because of last year's failure. The girl could have barely walked in the gown they gave her and the judges marked her VERY poorly. I think the Indonesia-India comparisons will hurt her.

Yes Miss India definitely has what's called "sash" attention, she's from India so she's definitely noticed. FYI, alot of Indians hate this gown and are pleading to Simran to get rid of it. Go over to Missology and you'll see, they're not happy at all.
