  • so u have to drink the salt water then lemonade right?

  • i hate when people have a lack of knowledge on things and then they open their mouth and start talking ummmm i need for u to do ur research the point of sea salt flush and laxative tea is to clean waste that is still stuck in ur body that u have not been able to pass duh for all the smartAzzes

  • haha lol...i just had to comment because of the title of this video- in response to the title- haha ummm yea it is :)

    God bless

  • Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay TMI

  • not healthy. She is more likely to upset the natural flora of bacteria in her gut causing an opportunistic infection or making herself transiently lactose intolerant. Cleanses are bad ideas.

  • i dont think this is healthy....let alone sane

  • r u lersbian?

  • ur being negative

  • OMG I KNOW PARIS HILTON TOO OMG I PARTY WITH HER ALL THE TIME ITS SO COOL OMG YAY ME. I mean don't ask.

Seriously why is that bitch so famous? Because her parents own some hotels?

  • who's paris hilton?

  • dunno, some gay blogger I think.

  • I think it's an hotel in Paris.

  • I suppose the lemonade and salt meant to increace urine production to "wash" the kidneys. a simple diuretic, such as coffee or tea would be much better. besides that, "cleansing" your kidneys doesn't do much for you toxins. toxins (freeradicals etc.) are mainly found in oxidized fat stores. the best way to "cleanse" would be first to eat a lost of fiber (apples, bannanas, flax seed, nuts) to increase peristaltic waves in your intestine. then injest antioxidants to neutralize toxins (berries, VA)

  • oh my, that thing looks pretty awful to drink, Micki.

    lol

  • I also feel I should point out that both me and Hellomate639 clearly have far too much time on our hands to post stuff on youtube :P

  • Actually, I'm just procrastinating other things.

In this case, I want to tell you that "not physical" shouldn't share a connotation with "magical."

I think all subjective assumptions should share that connotation. Electrons do only move. All energy and matter only occupies space and moves other energy and matter.

I just also want you to know that any knowledge you have about how the brain works becomes irrelevent through this argument, due to relativity and fundmentals...

  • LOL loved your reaction to the taste.

  • So Im kinda confused:

I read everywhere that your lemonade should be made fresh and consumed within 10 minutes of preperation (roughly and that makes sense) but I also see a lot of people making enough for a days worth (which also makes sense) What's "the right way"?

    Anyone?

    ~K

  • This is a classic example of a "college know-it-all".

I see this type all the time, and they're very annoying because they've deluded one idea with a whole host of ideas that they consider to be absolute, so teaching them something simple becomes difficult, because they misconstrue everything...

Thats not pointed towards atheism. Just college know-it-alls.

  • How rude.

  • fuck you

  • Such is the attitude of a 59 year-old? Now thats despicable...

  • she is so beautiful

  • i think its more of physical and mental cleanse health, rather than a mental fucking

  • how could that possibly be ironic?

    no, my mistake.

all atheists enjoy are death, destruction, misery, and greed. they're also horrible people who are very unhealthy.

  • Contrary to popular Religious beliefs, Atheists are some of the most decent people on the planet. Just because our religious or non-religious mind sets are different, does that warrant grounds to be hostile to one another? No, certainly not. I have some good friends who are atheistic. I believe in God, but that doesn't mean I am going to treat you as an enemy. That is absurd. We are all people in the end, to be treated equally, and with respect for each others opinions and world views.

  • "how could that possibly be ironic?

    no, my mistake.

all atheists enjoy are death, destruction, misery, and greed. they're also horrible people who are very unhealthy."

Their belief represents meaninglessness, and they attempt to deny it by pointing to the things they enjoy in life... lol.

Unfortunately, I understand this. Because of how my brain works, I have to be literal about everything(partial Asperger's), so I cannot just forget about how pointless everything is, unlike you people.

  • Hellomate639:

I feel for you. I also have Aspergers myself, very severly, and I am as atheist as they come. But we DO find joy in life. We know that when we die, thats it, but we see that as all the more reason to value life itself. Richard Dawkins said that the idea of an after-life devalues this life, and I agree.

Find pleasure in life, fun, joy and love. I know Aspergers often don't have much "love" partners, its hard to mix at times. But it works out in the end, trust me on that.

    Be happy.

  • Hehe...

Well, I'm extremely literal about everything, and I still believe that there is more to life, maybe some would call it spirit.

There are reasons, and I don't accept something that I am not fairly sure of. By pure virtue of reasoning, I believe there is more in existence than what is physical, and won't refuse to entertain the idea that there also might be a literal meaning to life.

The reasons are complex, but 100% logical. There's no error that I've found in my logic thus far.

  • "By pure virtue of reasoning, I believe there is more in existence than what is physical"

Yes, energy. Thats the 'spirit' guiding the electical nurons in your cranium. Sorry to burst that bubble :P

True, you should never refuse to entertain an idea (other than Palin as President). But that doesn't make Spirits real, flying pigs might be real, so might the Flying Spegeti Monster or the celestial teapot.

Anyway, like I said, be happy :)

  • Actually, I didn't present to you any of my reasoning. Just know that I've never seen anyone repeat the reasoning that I've come to, and I'll tell you about it when I get the time.

If logic pointed to something other than atheism, what would you think?

  • "If logic pointed to something other than atheism, what would you think?"

I would be highly suspicious, and I would suspect there to be a flaw in my logic somewhere (there are wholes in so many theist arguments). God himself is a logical impossability in several different ways, and logic never contradicts itself.

But logic does not point to anything other than atheism... you could argue that it points to agnostisym, but I don't believe in fairies, so I won't believe in God without evidence.

  • Well, there's a reason I didn't say "God."

It has to do with awareness, and what every physical thing has in common. This is where my conceptualization skills mixed with my literal mind.

Really, everything in existence is made out of the same stuff. Some would say it's energy. Whatever it really is, the only thing that it can do is occupy dimensions, if time is a dimension. If time turns out to not be a dimension, perhaps we'll know after the LHC goes off, then its restricted to movement.

  • Your brain, your body, everything is literally the same thing as a rock- just arranged differently.

Complexity is nothing more than a concept. New things only happen in relation to something else.

Your brain is functionally no different than a bunch of rocks flying around in an organized way.

But, here's where it gets odd:

    I am here.

To help you conceptualize this, think of the possibility that there's a difference between functional consciousness and awareness.

  • Wrong.

Atoms are not the same, currantly, we know of almost 200 different types of atom and they all behave very differently.

You brain is nothing like a rock at all, and your conciousness is powered by electrical energy, not by a spirit.

You need to get over the idea that everything is just rocks in different shapes. There are varying degree's of atomic structure and there are 9 different kinds of energy.

  • Your conceptualizal mind is failing you right now.

Atoms are made up of the same thing that light, and everything else is made up of.

All of atom behavior, no matter how unique, is movement: how light moves away from it, how energy moves through it, how electrons move through it, etc.

Electricity is moving electrons. Your subjectivity has given it a magical appearance.

  • "Atoms are made up of the same thing that light, and everything else is made up of."

Wrong, light is made of Photons. Atoms are made of Protons, Nutrons and Electrons. (note: Proton is not the same as a Photon)

"Electricity is moving electrons. Your subjectivity has given it a magical appearance."

    What? What magical appearance?

    ...what?...

"All of atom behavior, no matter how unique, is movement"

I wouldn't say so, unless you concider electron tethers as actual movement.

    This is GCSE stuff

  • A photon is made up of the same stuff as an electron- it just occupies a different amount of space and moves differently. That's all the universe is: substance arranged over multiple dimensions.

Kinetic energy has the ability to become the nucleus of an atom- something that people have already done. Kinetic energy and atoms are "both but different manifestations of the same thing," to quote Einstein.

  • Ok.

Well if your saying your 'spirit'/conciousness is made up of the same stuff as Photons/electrons then I would deffinetly agree with you. If you arn't say that, and believe in some sort of magical soul, then I would invite you to present some evidence for your ideas before anyone takes them seriously.

This chat seems to be getting a little competative, but maybes that just me. Lets not argue, just 'debate' :P

  • Well, to debate the idea is all I wanted.

And really, don't think about the subjective veiw of spirituality. Don't even think about taking the old religious idea of it into consideration in understanding what I am saying.

I'm basically saying there needs to be something else for us to actually be here experiencing what the brain is experiencing. That's simply because something physical is not capable of doing that because of its limitations. That's all.

  • And if thats what your saying, I fully agree with you whole heartedly, and so would every good scientist.

The 'extra thing' that is needed to make a brain work (besides matter) is energy, electrical energy to be precise. If you want to call that electricity a 'spirit' in anyway, feel free. But my point is that it is NOT a mystery, it is within the laws of phyics and it DOES NOT rely upon a God/Spirit/Creator to make a brain work with conciousness

    :)

  • There you go with electricity again.

Electricity is nothing more than moving electrons. You have an assumptive conceptual error in your perception of energy. Think of energy as nothing more than an infinite number of infinitesimal points, and all those points do is move and affect other things.

Awareness simply cannot come from electricity. This is what I meant when I said you're veiwing electricity to magically: you were looking at it too subjectively.

  • You are perhaps right there, I am a biologist not a physiasist (and I doubt I can even spell the former due to my heavy dyslexia), and I don't pretend to know everything about electrons.

I know they have other properties than just movement, they don't behave in quite the same way as matter would, and I also know that it is electrons that make up our 'soul'.

I am not trying to argue that electrons are magical. I am simply trying to say that there is NO magic or spirit in our brains.

    :P

  • @mick08588 did you know religion causes mass death, destruction, misery, and greed...thank you for explaining waht religion can do to a multi-religious world ;)

  • would this help me pass a drug test form pot?

  • I am not vegetarian, but I've found that when I don't eat meat, I feel soo much better and energetic..I'm seriously thinking of becoming vegetarian:)

  • i'm vegan and it's awesome XD

  • i remember my mother doing this same cleansing diet a couple years ago. she was very careful to follow every instruction and still it put her in the hospital.

  • paris hilton party? shes hanging out with the wrong crowd

  • jordantactless...where did you get that info? Just wondering, because a PA gets about a semester, as an RN I had a semester amd I can't imagine doctors only getting 18 hours. I'll ask one at work tomorrow. Besides this isn't about nutrition, its not like she's loading up on big macs and she's not going to die of malnutrition in only 10 days. Drinking that salt water, holy electrolyte problems! Hey Micki, I'm not knocking you. I LOVE your videos and blogs!! Keep 'em coming!!

  • I love how the idiot below me makes the comment about you not being a doctor... as if doctors are experts on nutrition. NEWS FLASH for those not in the know: Doctors only spend about 18 hours, out of the 8+ years of medical school on nutrition. They know as much as the people running this country and probably this world want them to know. So next time, think before you speak.

    ANYWAY...

Sorry. Day two of my MC detox and I'm a little moody. hehe. I enjoyed your video. [=

  • 1800Lazerface

    That's ridiculous, and completely untrue.

Your intestines are not piling up with undigested meats. To put it simply it's your digestive tract, to assume a digestible food would remain undigested in your digestive tract is ridiculous.

  • Sorry to tell you but that cleansing crap is BS. I've looked it up. There is no scientific basis that toxins build up in the body. As well as laxatives used when you're not constipated just creates diarrhea out what you were going to crap any way (sorry to get graphic and yes, I do realize that its a little too late)

  • WOW. tell that to my mother who had to have over a year of colon cleansing from the toxins that built up inside her body for YEARS on end and nearly died because of it. if it werent for detoxing along with that i would not have a mother anymore. just because you "looked it up" doesnt mean sh*t are you serious?? "I've looked it up" ????? youre retarded.

  • laxitives gross TOO MUTCH INFO!!!!!

  • I agree w/ talktal.... there's a name on the floor over there.... Great one to drop too...

  • I heard colon cleansing was the best way sorry. Oh yeah try some antioxidants pills and plenty of green leafy vegetables.

  • my daily cleansing? a 40 of bud, if I have more money it becomes a Sierra Nevada.

  • cool tattoo

  • In light of the nature of the previous comments, Micki, I'd like to say... welcome to YouTube! Haha

  • hmmm. let's see:

    1. water (okay, obviously needed)

    2. salt (hmm, makes sense. but salt water? ughhh..)

    3. syrup (??)

    4. pepper (what the fuck?)

    5. laxative tea (WTF? why would anyone need to drink LAXATIVE tea for TEN consecutive days? you are not eating anything, anyway...)

Conclusion: the whole plan is bullshit and anyone who falls for it is an idiot..

  • @fakemeister Not to mention salt water makes some people vomit....o-O

  • @fakemeister You need to take laxatives because when you stop consuming solid food you will stop releasing toxins that will build up; cayenne and maple syrup provide a lot of nutrients, etc.

  • @fakemeister Yeah, I was like wtf... appealing as she seems, if I found my girlfriend was doing this shit in her spare time, I'd run for it.

  • @fakemeister the point of the laxative is so you do go to the bathroom since you arent eating anything you are eliminating putrid fecal matter ..duh

  • hmm.. let's see:

    1. water (okay, obviously needed)

    2. salt (hmm okay, makes sense.. but salt water?? ughh..)

    3. syrup (??)

    4. pepper (what the fuck?)

    5. laxative tea (why do you need to drink LAXATIVE tea for TEN days? you are not eating anything, anyway..)

Conclusion: the whole plan is bullshit. Anyone who falls for it is an idiot..

  • Anyone who falls for it is...

The whole point of the advertising campaigns for these products is to make them seem legitimate.

All humans have a tendency to bow to authority, it is a common trait among all of us. She's not a doctor, how does she know what the physical effects of pepper are on the body?

  • wow, a party at paris hilton's house? uhhh yeah, cool name dropping there. did you guys talk about politics? i hope she sang, because she makes ubber cool records.

maybe you want to get some advice from raising kids from britney spears next.
