This video was shown at a UFO conference a few years ago. The footage is much better than you can see here. The conclusion after analysis of the video was that it is a real object, not a special effect or animation. The speculation of the presenter was that it was man made, possibly flying out from a nearby US military base. To me, it looked like a real live large metallic object with astonishing flying capabilities.
