Oh yeah, this is the FLDS Church. The LDS Church practiced polygamy from 1843-1890, when it was then abolished (after the prophet Wilford Woodruff received an answer about it). The FLDS Church, who broke off from Mormonism, still practice it, along with wearing old-fashioned clothing and the infamous "bouffant" hair-dos for women. My only guess as to why is that it conforms to their ideals of modesty.

Oh, go to hell. The Mormon people are really nice people. They aren't a cult or anything that you silly people make them out to be. The Mormons here in Sacramento give out food, and shelter to those who need it most. Even those who choose to remain atheist. They've paid my family's rent when we couldn't multiple times. They don't deserve to be pushed into the cult corner.
