ariel has a great voice but a defensive exterior which results in her being aggressive. i think that she auditioned for the x factor in order to prove a point; commercial shows like that instantly dismiss anybody with a taste in music that differs from everyone else such as metal or rap. i highly doubt a rapper or metalhead has ever been accepted on such a show. the program should be called what it really is; a competition between wannabe-pop singers as it seems that only one style is permitted.
