My first bike was a '99 R6 loved it. My second bike was a '05 GSX-R 600 sold it a couple yrs ago got sick of it. I just got a '08 R6 a couple of days ago and i love it already its a beast!!! To me the R6 has always been the sickest looking body style of all the 600 class bikes just my opinion so dont kill me.

@KFLY67 well what I mean is even tho your sv is a 650, the r6 600 is alot more powerful bike its engine is a high perfomance 4 cylinder designed for racing and speed compared to the sv650 touring model you have.

@I24V3Nable my girlfriend in the video had a newer 08 ninja 250r, learned on that then jumped on this r6. its easy to ride once you get the steering feel down. I would not recommend any 600 for a first bike. 250 ninja is good starting out on.

@I24V3Nable Learn on the 250... I'm 200lbs and its still gets up to 150km on the highway. Thats fast enough for any newbie.. dont rush into the larger CC till you get at least a full summer on a 250. You will want to move up at the end of the summer though... the fee you pay for changing up is nothing if it saves your life.

@I24V3Nable like as in your first bike ever or first street bike? My first street bike was a 2003 ninja 636 and after like 6 months i moved up to a 1000 ( just cause i like to go fast ). but a 600 is a great starter bike in my opinion. I would recommend if you have any friends who one to try it out first

@I24V3Nable i just recommend you not starting on a 250cc on my course i started out with a 150cc (nerver riden a bike before) and in 2 hours i jumped into a 400cc bike,after 16 hours of training i felt very conforable on a 400cc bike (at low speed manouvers)

Than i had a course in road with a 500cc and i can tell u that it has power but you will grow up on her in like 2 months let alone if you start with a 250cc bike.
