I think you could be correct sir.Its tragic that Neda was killed and I think this song is about more than that,I think its a song for all the injustice in the east,Neda was just the last straw for many people.

Why is Neda more important than other people who get murdered around the world every day ?

kolkrabe19, sometime this happens that one person becomes a voice, a symbol or a face of some nation's struggle & fight for lots of reasons. in Neda case: 1 she died in front of our very eyes -2 in 40 sec. a standing lifeful young girl goes to silence with open eyes 3- in that moment she wasn't even among the protestees. anyway doesn't matter who become a face of injustice repression but what's important is that she/he would remind us of what we standing for & why we can't afford to give in

Yes, but, as I said, people get martyred around the world every day but they never make it to intl. fame. For the people that saw this happening or who knew her I understand it but, you see, people don´t become the face of a struggle without some support by the corporate media, and they do it for some political purpose.

kolkrabe19,I agree with u .corp.media has always reshaped & redefined our thoughts by commercializing real trogedies&selling news for a profite making system but for us Neda like many of our murdered loved ones since 1980 is another call for public attention like u & others not fu. cnn or bbc. 4 them it was another news like M.Jackson or A Nicole. If Neda gets world's attention that matters. it wasn't staged, they sold it like always not for the sake of people but theirs for future intervening

Thank you. Whenever a story was hyped in the past there was some political purpose behind it and once you had understood the pattern it became routine procedure. There is always an incident involving people that everybody will have sympathy for, be it little incubator babies or a beautiful lady, it serves the same psychological purpose. I am suspicious when a story gets attention beyond its news value. I suspect that Iran is being framed for either economic sanctions or military intervention.
