@guy014 Do you get "real" airlines such as SAS by default on FSX, or do you have to download them? FS2004 just had fake airlines like "Orbit" and "Landmark" and it felt so unreal I got sick of the game.

DBS walk and follow is basically a fly by view. If you press the ' NUM /' button then it follows the plane and you can change the view to whatever.

No, the fly-by view was achieved by moving the Tower view to a specific location. It can only be done in FS9, though.

I think you're talking about Active Camera, in which case, that indeed has a fly-by view. But not DBS Walk & Follow.

The point of this Simulator is to realistically replicate real world flying. When you get the sim, it doesn't look anything like this video. I used a bunch of add-ons (in the description) and I also added in a bunch of Color Filters in the video editor.

Those are called thrust reversers. They're on most planes. You'll notice them on nearly all jet aircraft. Google it for more info.

Hi, another great vid! Just one question though! How do you get those fields in the first 10 seconds to look so realistic and like fsx? If you can tell me, this might prevent me making the move to fsx! That is why I do not like FS9, cause the fields are grass textures and trees are all blurred and so un-realistic! Please reply!

Please Google "shochwave lights". Click the second link and then, in the forums, click the link that reads "3rd party aircraft database has been posted here". You would then select either FS9 or FSX and you will see a complete list of the aircraft they have made a config for. If you don't find it there, you can request one to be made. Just ask on the forums.

This is PMDG's 737 so I got it off the site. precisionmanuals. Look under Downloads > Add-On Liveries.

You have to create the texture sets in GE Pro. Simply read the Read Me or Help or whatever came with the addon. It includes a detailed, pictured step by step guide on how to set it up.

FS2004 cannot use 2 processors. Remember, it was released back in mid 2003.

Once you install the base textures, you are set. Just load up your sim and you'll see new scenery. Again, all I did was read the Read Me and got it working from there.
