I did one thats 21 seconds and it took me 160 hours to do..

And It is REAL paper and pen.. I know i did and this looks similar! You can even see the scan marks from the animation scanner on mine! its a guy plaing the guitarr

it is done on real paper and yall should have respect for digital artists too...you have to have the talent for traditional art to be able to cross over to digital...its still painting and drawing, just a different tool....and thanks to those who appreciate my work...this tiny clip took forever to finish

Animation is indeed long and hard (HA HA!!... penis puns), but in the end that's what makes it so damn beautiful and captivating. Not to mention the fact you did this with REAL FUCKING PAPER, I have nothing, but ultimate respect for you.

Less I can say for that digital-drawing shit those lazy bastards on Walking Life and Scanner Darkly did. Cunts...

Digital painting is also very hard and u must be very talented to create something good from it, about Waking Life it´s no made with rotoscope, it´s just a program so it´s even worse than u think, the "animators" just gave every shot the final touch...

As for others, the whole Waking Life is rotoscoped, same goes for Scanner Darkly.

And believe me, digital rotoscoping is just as hard and time consuming as doing it manualy.

@ElZomboFantasma .. to be fair scanner darkly and walking life is a full feature film.. it would be an impossibility to make a film that long with classical rotoscoping!

the thing about rotoing is you have to take your time. I've done tons in one night and blown myself out but the best thing to do is do a little at a time
