I don't dig this at all.

Turbonegro rocked but this sounds like so many other bands.

This is just... mediocre at best. Turbonegro on the other hand was awesome. Now we get two mediocre bands (this and the new Turbonegro) instead of a great one (old Turbonegro).

This just doesn't work. Individually, Hank's vocals and this bands sound are sweet in their own right, but trying to apply Hank's distinctly 'punk' vocals to a more metal sound such as this just doesn't click. 'The Mercy Cult' should find a more fitting lead singer, and Hank should go back to Turbonegro where his voice can be appreciated. He just doesn't sound right here.

I remember seeing Turbonegro open for Marilyn Manson (while Tim Sköld still played with him) in Gothenburg in december 2007. I never would have guessed that I'd be seeing them play together three and a half years later. Pure awesomeness.
