I'm taking German next year in Highschool, hopefully I can say it all correctly. I like to study up on german and stuff related to the language. I know the small parts of their language like 'hello', 'is', 'my/mine' but this class will help me learn how to say everyday stuff in German, after the german class is done we have to go a whole day saying german even to other teachers/classes. :/

what i find strange about other languages is that sometimes words are changed depending on what word comes before or after, in this case german, i can only speak a few phrases, but thats it.

My sister is totally fluent in German & many other English speakers say it's a lot easier to learn then latin languages, due to the grammar. A lot of business companies in the UK & other Anglosphere nations like ppl to learn German or Chinese, which have very powerful economies & populations of speakers.

@ panosfye Why would someone want to learn German? mabee someone who is German who was born and raised in the us who was only taught a few words of German and would like to know more.. So they can also teach their children.. Plus if you can really scare the pants off someone yelling in German if you need to protect your self. just yelling the few words i know in German with my temper has helped me out a time or two. of course you have to have the right dialect with it.

The emphases are a bit weird. That's the only reason why it sounds so aggressive ;). When you speak it fluently you don't stress each word like this.
