PS3 has maybe 15% more powerful hardware, but Sony screwed up and made it too hard to take advantage of because of buggy SDK's for the vendors. So, most games are first put out on 360 then ported to PS3. Making the PS3 buggier and less powerful at the moment until they fix their software and make it easier to make games for. and for the ps3s hardware, its a cut down version of alienware computers, except with different names. as for the 360, it uses a totally different method of graphics cards made by none other than nvidia, the company with the best graphic cards on the market today, which is a second reason ubisoft is leaning more for the 360 for the next splinter cell. but all this may not matter because theirs rumors that sony and microsoft is going to team up to create another next gen console in 5 years.
