Don't get me wrong, but you get what you're paid for.Behringer pedals isn't so bad but they use cheap components.I was using Behringer when I can't affort something better, now I don't want to have Behringer stompboxes in my rig!
i just bought this pack of 3 pedals at best buy ,not really what i went to look for somehow i went there to buy a vacumm belt band ,and i walked out with this great deal of the 3 pedals for 79 bucks ,its the cromatic tuner ,distortiton, and this one ,it comes with 2 small cables ,and one big one,the only thing i didnt like was the little blue light is brighter than the rest of my pedals ,but i walked out happy from there and happy with the quality..and for a really small price
@bengativo6 Dude you are one lucky fucker, that's the best deal I have ever heard of... the chromatic tuner is a must have, the distortion... well all the musicians needs distortion here and there and this particular pedal is awesome, plus the cables... now I'm jealous lol.
@jacobygreenwood lol. hey man you could also be a lucky fucker as well ,go to the best buy site or go to your nearest store .im pretty sure you wont be dissapointed ,just handle these pedals with care ,and you are having them at least for 3 years or more . now as my comment is 5 months old .my distortion pedal . went bad .but i fixed it i just unscrewed the back of it and started screwing around with it .and guess what? i fixed it just by cleaning the knobs ,and the rest of the system.
I don't owe the pedal myself, But The Edge's style, relies on a delay pedal. If you want to play like him, and you don't have the money for a 200 pound pedal, then this is the one to go for. In general, Behringer pedals are good starter pedals, they don't cost a fortune, and sounds good in relation to the price. And they last long, if you don't drop them on the floor too often.
I hate how everybody automatically slams brands just because they're cheap.
Just because this is cheaper than other boutique delays doesn't necessarily mean that the more expensive pedals are better. Most of the time the cheaper ones get about 85% of the way there. It's kinda like comparing a Rolex to a no name Walmart watch I guess. Both have the same function, but everyone wants the Rolex because of the school of thought that, 'hey, it's more expensive, it must be better!'
if you post negative comments about behringer's crappy products, world music supply will block you so other people won't see your opinion and you will waste your money. the truth is, most of these pedals break very easily or are already broken when you order them from american music supply. this comment will magically disappear, i guarantee it!

should i get Behringer DD4600 Digital Delay Pedal or Behringer DD400 Digital Delay Pedal ?? its like around the same price, but which do u guys recomand?
A lot of people under rate this pedal..but I own this pedal and I really don't see what's the problem with it. It works just as well as a boss delay pedal, it's got a load of different settings to choose from and I've used it for a shit load of gigs and it hasn't received a scratch even after 5 years of use! AND ALSO IT'S AFFORDABLE!! The only problem with it I'd say is that it's plastic (less durable) and it sucks the life out of batteries really quickly. But dudes, come on, it's not that bad!
Does anybody have any info on the knobs or the hold mode? Ive been hearing alot of things like the mode knob just slides around instead of clicking from setting to setting and that the hold mode doesnt work at all...anybody know anything bout this?
@somberstarsinthesky I think all stomp boxes are like that. I can't keep any of them lasting. Of course if you leave it plugged in while its off it drains the battery. But still, they don't last long, but a power supply.
anything made by behringer is going to end up falling apart or you'll just regret blowing your money on it. Good brand for beginners, amps are meh peds I've tested are fucking jokes.

I don't know man... I own 2 behringer pedals, a "vintage tube monster" (tube distortion pedal) and a analog delay. they actually sound good and I never had a problem with them... and the bugera amps don't look bad either... of course you can buy much better stuff, but you are not wasting your money trying them out
I've just had some bad experiences with behringer personally and i'm really not too picky about sound. i like simplicity, but for me these sb's have always burnt out. glad you have had positive experiences though
don't lost you're money for this crap !!! ok the pedal himself sound pretty good for the price yeah...but this pedal kill 20% of my distortion sound...so a put this one on the garbage. now I have the boss DD-3 ! the boss don't kill my sound and I like it like that :)
after distortion. but btw I try anything before-after- on the FX loop on my marshall everything.....this thing kill my sound ! I have no idea why...but the boss dd3 don't do that with the same set-up.
you shouldn't insert an equalizer pedal after a wah pedal it should be before the wah pedal , because wah pedal is actually an equalizer pedal. if you insert distortion after wah pedal you get a different sound if you insert before , you get a different sound. if you insert an equalizer pedal before distortion you get a different sound , if you insert it after you get a different sound. no its not made in metal. Its made in plastic. I got the DD400. I can tell you. Its veerrrryy fragile. Im worried to break it everytime i engage it. Forget to use your foot. I rather want a boss dd on ebay. But it sounds great.
u hear the sound...in my opinion it is very good.i got some of this behringer "cheaper" effekts and I can tell u, that they are better than some expensive efects of well known companies.
So the Behringer pedals do sound great when you play them? I got the feeling they are crappy made since they're so cheap compared to other pedals like Boss...
Yes, plastic is less durable than metal, but it is tough and thick ... unless you seriously mishandle it, it will not break quickly!!
Second: the sound of these pedals is not that bad, the price might be achieved by cutting corners on production BUT they save a bucketload on R&D by copying existing pedals, THAT's where they save the money.
The sounds are digital, so are the DD-7's, what goes in comes out. It's how you use it that defines the resulting sound
Well said. Plastic's fucking durable. I mean, there are plastic parts on planes in the passenger area where a lot of wear and tear happens. Also, most motorbike helmets are made out of PLASTIC too!
it might also be that other stuff is overpriced .... i got a few behringer products ... including a great accoustic amp and they all do just as good a job as things that cost a third more money .
Youd also want the tremolo effect to have sufficient depth to get the on/off effect that your looking for, some of them dont.
Or if you have a guitar with independant volume controls for each pickup you could do it by setting one pickup to max and one to min and flicking the pickup selector to the requiered tempo.
hey high five. ive been looking for a cheap pedal that can do that effect at the beginning of cochise with. ive played alot and it doesnt work with most pedals. i dont know about this one. i hope so!
Really impressed with this pedal...Got one for christmas just to mess around with and man its quite the pedal...love it in every way....deffinitely worth more than what waspayed for it!
I don't think this is mentioned in the video, but you can plug a momentary swtich, like a keyboard sustain pedal into the "tempo" to tap out the delay time - really useful.
if you're a fool who treats you equipment like shit to look cool and aggressive (or so you think) onstage, a behringer pedal is not for you. if you like value and good tone, the newer behringers are excellent.
i use a behringer pedal and i use cheap batteries for it too and ive had one in it for like... weeks now. you have to make sure their un-jacked when your done with them, drains the battery :P LOL
"...eletronics components are of considerably lower quality..." - Name them, if it's true! Brand, model and types. All those people who say that the behringer fx pedals and all its line sucks, they just don't know shit about sound quality or tone, they just want to show off...it goes like this: "Hey, look at my pedalboard, see, it's as expansive as my car!" Go fuck yourselves! Tone is tone! It doesn't how much you expend, it does matter how it sounds. By the way plastic don't get rust...!!!
HAHA i feel sorry for your audience when this thing fucks up, ive known three people to own one of these, and three times i watched them try to turn there delay off and couldn't because the switch inside broke, i was just saying "well at least i have a Boss DD-3" I'll stick with that, looks and sounds better, by the way Metal don't snap
Hey man, don't be sorry for my audience...My amp has an effects loop and I can switch it on and off with my footswitch, by the way, it's an all tube amp and the behringer effects that I use sounds REALLY nice on the amp and the pedals had never failed on me. Especially the TO800 and the WD300. When I first try the Behringer TO800 and compared it with the same guitars and amps with my friend's TS-8
I could just not feel any sign of regret. They are identicals! Specially with the drive not passing 12:00 o'clock and the tone around 3 or 4. It's still working real fine and sounding real fine. One last thing: If and only if it fucks up...I'll just buy a new one! Never bother to fix it! The first behringer's Fx pedals most important quality is their sound (Try guys and you'll see what I mean!) and the second one is: They're affordable!
you are my new best friend! i use a lot of behringer stuff and in some ways i prefer it over boss and other shit. i use the UM300 and its great when you find the right settings! lol. anyone who says behringer is shit can go eat their expensive shit pedals/amps.
I just bought this ,the coolest part about it is if you hold the pedal down then it plays back what you just played.

hey has anybody tried doing tom morellos helicopter thing with this? does it work?
sk8r3397 3 years ago
This is a delay,not a tremolo.
Youd also want the tremolo effect to have sufficient depth to get the on/off effect that your looking for, some of them dont.
Or if you have a guitar with independant volume controls for each pickup you could do it by setting one pickup to max and one to min and flicking the pickup selector to the requiered tempo.

tom morello uses a DD-2 for cochise. not a tremolo

hey high five. ive been looking for a cheap pedal that can do that effect at the beginning of cochise with. ive played alot and it doesnt work with most pedals. i dont know about this one.

The electronics components are of considerably lower quality too
diminishedseventh 3 years ago
"...eletronics components are of considerably lower quality..." - Name them, if it's true! Brand, model and types. All those people who say that the behringer fx pedals and all its line sucks, they just don't know shit about sound quality or tone, they just want to show off...it goes like this: "Hey, look at my pedalboard, see, it's as expansive as my car!" Go fuck yourselves! Tone is tone! It doesn't how much you expend, it does matter how it sounds. By the way plastic don't get rust...!!!

HAHA i feel sorry for your audience when this thing fucks up, ive known three people to own one of these, and three times i watched them try to turn there delay off and couldn't because the switch inside broke, i was just saying "well at least i have a Boss DD-3" I'll stick with that, looks and sounds better, by the way Metal don't snap
himynameischrisAVA 3 years ago

Man, I'm happy that you're capable to spend a lot of money buying boutique pedals, but most people don't! Cheers, keep on rocking and bye!

himynameischrisAVA 3 years ago
...by the way, the Behringer TO800 uses 4558 ICs and MA150 distortion diodes, does the Boss Overdrive or the TS9?
6034557060861300 3 years ago 2
you are my new best friend! i use a lot of behringer stuff and in some ways i prefer it over boss and other shit. i use the UM300 and its great when you find the right settings! lol. anyone who says behringer is shit can go eat their expensive shit pedals/amps.
BEHRINGER FTW!

order it one day, and the next they demo it... hmm. would have been really helpful a few days ago, but it's a great sounding pedal anyways
