Still no reasonably working operating system, failing front panels.

@RobbieNerve seriously from 5 months ago? The OS hit 1.0 over a year ago. The OS is reasonably working and working well. There are a few features not yet implemented like realtime recording of knobs which ended up being far more difficult due to the feature set than originally thought. But some of the updates are preparing the machine for the jump to that since we are at OS 1.04. And so far not much complaint about any failures on the forum. A few fuses went and were replaced. AFAIK

why do some ppl keep bitching and moaning. why don/t you make your own synth then?

If someone decides to build their own synth, they should do it thoroughly and FINISH it (up to a reasonable point, there will allways be minor bugs I understand that) before they start selling it.

I'm not going to build my own synth, there are lots of alternatives for the spectralis without that much OS misery.

It's just like quasimidi. Great ideas implemented in a mediocre way.
