CSJ's a Ph.D holder and he should have used his intelligence for better things. I once saw him on the streets with his family and I think he lives in a 3-room flat. If he did not oppose the government that much he might be living in a nice condo. Furthermore, his actions did not seem to have any net positive effect toward society at all.

CSJ is a great fighter. He fights for his conviction and belief. It is so heart touching to watch his children, one by one, running to hug upon his release. At one stage I was almost taken in that he was a faked opposition so cleverly used and deployed by the PAP to make the opposition looked like clowns. Now I am fully convinced that he is a true champion for freedom and democracy after listening to the court saga.

If CSJ were smart, he would not have been sued or stepped into prison. Instead, he would have been an MP fighting for the rights and welfare of Singaporeans. He shames the face of the opposition, deterring potential candidates from joining opposition parties. Same goes for CSC.

You need a little whacking. Few courts in the world, no matter what they say, are totally independent. Some will naturally bend towards the government intentions. Countries such as Malaysia ensured that when Mahathir dismissed the top judges for overturning his decisions.

The opposition in parliament were elected fairly. The citizens who voted for CSJ before did so because they didn't want to let the PAP candidate have total support. It's as simple as that. Got it? You have a huge problem..
