Hey, I cant seem to get this to work on my ipad (4.2.1) I have psx4all installed and have the .bin and scph1001.bin which i got from emuparadise as well, but when i start the game it goes to the "sony entertainment America" screen and after goes blank and doesn't go to the squaresoft logo to start the game. It there a special version of the game I am suppose to have? or settings? I am very stumped. Could you possibly help me out? Thanks alot!

hi. I'm using version 4 of psx4all on an ipad with OS 4.2.1. For some reason ff7 with a bin file isnt working. I just see the Sony Computer Entertainment America Presents. Then it does nothing. I see an fps of about 50. I tested this with a different psx image. Castlevania symphony of the night with a .img file. And that works. Any ideas?

@pathsny you should try your .bin image on a desktop psx emulator to be sure it's working.

If it's running under desktop then maybe psx4all doesn't like this version , maybe because of the region, or the way it was ripped, dunno.

i have this on my ipad. the music is like its being fast forward a little bit. its like overlapping each other. i have the original cd and converted to iso so im not sure what to do next. please tell me how is your sound. gameplay is flawless though no lag yet. thanks

@bennyblanco92 maybe it's a permission issue, check that the rom folder (i think it's where it puts save files) is chmoded to 777

@12nero but the ipod is much smaller and portable. honestly no offense i see people with ipads on the train and they look like retard. they think they are cool with an oversized ipod but they are not. if they are going to hold and ipad on the train, why not just use a netbook which is smaller, cheaper, more efficient, and play many more games?

@lucirz A netbook, lol. If I wanted a device that froze, crashed and was a waste of money I would do that... lol... The point isn't how cool you look holding an iPad the point is how much functionality you get out of the device. Playing games on a 3.5 inch screen is wonderful for Angry Birds but not so much for PSX games.

It can be a little laggy sometimes but overall it's running pretty well, maybe you should try to reboot or free mem with sbSettings?

one thing i noticed is that using the save state feature turns the application into a laggy mess.

I had to delete all saveState files to return to a good framerate.
