Try a 22uf tantalum cap between +ive and ground wires at the servo end of the extension - that works to eliminate glitching on my HS-7940THs that occurs when run on 2S lipo direct through long extensions and then apply a load or move the servo. The tantalum is physically a lot smaller than the 330uf electrolytic I'd tried previously (which also worked).
