Ladakh is NOT a part of the Kashmir region, though it is now part of the state of Jammu & Kashmir.

i hv been to Ladakh...that is a Japanese made shrine in Leh, the capital of Ladakh region, so its probably Japanese.
This will always be one of my favorite vacations.
