Amalia was the first fadista I ever heard as a child. I wished I had been born in Lisbon, and could have grown up immersed in fado(fate..destiny is the English meaning of fado). However...my "Fate..Destiny...Fado." was??? I certainly believe in it. At least have no other explanation for the incredible occurrences in my life. I love this video as it's showing an artist studying her craft, creating new pieces of the mosaic of the history of her music.
