And if I might add, you don't go "through the bridge" You go over it after going through the tailpiece...or saddle. Remember a bridge is something that something goes over, and it is between things.

I'll be nice. You should watch your own video, and then think about what works and didn't work. Your grammar at the beginning led one to believe that the strings were heading DOWN to the bridge, as opposed to coming up from the bridge. You then had to cover that, and took way to long to make it clear. You took to long to explain this one thing. More important stuff might be the difference in working with the heavy and light strings when installing them, and how they behave at the posts.

This video should be entitled "Types of String Retention In Guitars". He compares stop tailpiece retention, to through body retention moderately well. (would have made a better comparison if he displayed a guitar w/each type of string retention) However, I agree w/other commentors, this video is no help whatsoever to explain how to change guitar strings.

it's all about personal preference. i like elixir nanoweb strings or super slinky ernie balls. keep in mind that lower gauge strings are better for lead and higher gauge strings are good for rythm
