im going to get an axial ax10 rtc for my b-day in april, but do u have any tips. im not a big kit builder but do you think the rtc is for begginer crawlers. i was in to 1/10 electric but im going crawling, any tips would be greatly appreciated. also nice rige, good welds too!!!
cooool! i love the wood; i want to do that to a 1972 Chevy step side with wood for my axial scx10! you should have used cherry stain and that would make it look WICKED! good job
I think its funny that you put all that work into the body and then went to a tube chassis. Nice truck either way man and I like the fact that you took the time to cut the tire foams properly.
Great build, fantastic job of the wood efect pick up bed, I tried to paint mine like that but it hasen't the 3d effect you have achieved, just ordered new skid plate and drive shafts from liquidrc for mine, they are so much fun. Enjoy !
im hoping to get a axial AX10 prety soon and whith all the parts you need to get it running it costs about $400 but i salvaged a reciver and controler from aold rc car called a rustler and it only costs about some where in the $320's
I know this truck is no longer around but I was wondering about the cargo holder. What type of material did u use? Where from? And did u weld it together?
it is solid brass rod. I bought it from my local hobby store. it came by the foot. very cheap. and All i do is mount them on something that will not melt and them solder them together. it is like a weld. or liek a braze really. welding melts the two metals together. this just attatches the two.
The cage was going to be a little cargo holder off the back of the tail gate. But I never got around to putting it on there. This truck is no longer together. Check out my new video very soon. maybe 2 hrs lol
Good job on the truck and video. The way you took the pics half new, half old was really helpfull. Custom battery? I hate the battery on the servo, but I think I'm goin that way for the weight also. Thanks for the vid .......FACE
