I had this exact model. It's awesome for everything minus the no phone feature and that's what drove me to get rid of it. It's a great way to get introduced to Apple products and fall in love with the company's tech. I never liked the price though and even today they retain their value well compared to other portable multimedia devices.

@HeimoHurjaProduction yes u can buy any games for this ipod touch. the only difference is the graphics for it. since the ipod touch 4g has a retina display and cameras, it can act like an iphone 4 a little, but if u just want apps and songs, than i guess the 2g or 3g would be perfect for u. the 2g is a little slower while the 3g isnt, and 2 can only get up to 4.2.1 while the 3g can get the same as the 4g's software which is 4.3.3

@HeimoHurjaProduction oh and i forgot, u dont need a pc to charge it. u just have to buy a wire for it to charge. the usb wire which is for pc is only used for sending music and apps to the ipod and charging at the same time. i bought my charger from the same store. just go to like best buy, target, walmart etc. and you'll find one

i thought my ipod touch was a 2nd gen but i just noticed that the one in this video has a few lines of writing on the back and i only have 2 lines of writing so would that a 3rg gen

@Distractinq you can find out if it's a 3g or 2g by looking at the model number, go to settings > general > about and then go to your model number, if it starts off with MC***** then that's a 3g, do you have 8gb?
