I'd appreciate any rational answers! I'm not attacking these religions, please don't take it that way, however, I used to be Christian and after studying the history of these nations extensively I no longer believe that these texts have not been manipulated by men that were politically motivated. The texts focus on the middle east exclusively and I don't believe these founders foresaw the expansion of their religions to the extent we see today.

Also, people in these times literally believed the earth was the center of the universe, with heaven(paradise) in the sky above the earth, and hell sitting below the earth. Science has proven this is not true. Lastly, the eschatology of these religions was generally believed to be VERY near in relation to the lives of these prophets, perhaps coming within their very generation. How do you explain the long lapse between now and then?

ok everyone, a few questions... Why would God have initially chosen the jewish people exclusively and not revealed his message to others for thousands of years? Also, aren't these holy men(prophets, jesus, muhammed, etc.) considered instruments of God based on their political influence as most of these middle eastern societies were theocratic? Also, "miracle workers" were very common in these times, what separates these men?

Allah is the generic noun: the-God or the-deity, not a personal name like Yahweh. the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.
