i am an american (and a vet). ted turner speaks as someone that has travelled to other countries. i have been lucky enough to travel to 25 countries and most of the time i stayed in hostels. hostels are good cuz u dont sit alone in your hotel room at night but you meet kids from around the world and u start to realize that we humans have more similarities than differences. i used to scream usa and "screw the rest". now i say, "wait....usa is great ...not perfect...lets talk to the other guys"
