Hmm MartMart, sorry to say, i don't agree with U. Clearly U can see who's the teacher here, Cause Lang Lang just summarised the key to playing well and the problem to George's playing with one sentence- It's the tone, the chinese accent. I very much agree. It's just like Mozart without the German he says. Yes, U have to play it the way the Chinese will speak the musicm it lacks the Chinese sensitivity in interpretation and touch.. so Lang Lang was right on with just that 1 sentence. =)

I saw lang lang on TV yesterday in the UK proms, playing Horowitz arragenment of Lizts Hungrian Rhapsody...absolteuly amazing. Watching this video though..he kind of looks lost. As tho he's just helping george because he has to be seen to be...because he knows george played so brilliantly..so lang lang seems to be just going through the motions. Play the video without looking at it, its hard to tell who is actually playing.
