they probaly had to land on an airport god knows how many miles away
they better have had some fuel whan they needed to land on that carrier and no tailhooh

It's a silly thought to have, but I miss the F-14. It was such a beautiful, sinuous, predatory looking machine. God bless all who fly the F/A-18, but from an aesthetic standpoint it looks like it's made of lego blocks, by comparison.
