  • i think gymnopaedie was remixed by some electro artist like jazzanova or koop.. anyone?

  • This is amazing. Never heard it done before. Nice nice!!

  • Very nice, very creative. You say it's a work in progress; don't turn it into a 'government' project, eh :) Can't wait to hear the finished product!

  • Jazz FTW!!! :D

  • that put me in a really good mood

  • Ripped, converted, burned straight to ipod. Qual.

  • Pretty cool dude

  • Nice mix! Keep the creative juices flowing; this is what keeps musicians and DJs moving forward. Meowkie may be right about the professional equipment. For your rendition of the "Take Five" part, play around with a little more accent / emphasis on the left hand rhythm part. (Although that would contrast it further from the legato of the Satie.)

  • I deleted my snarky comment on that other snarky comment below. There's no need for it. I simply love this piece, it is playful and a little mischievous and I really enjoy it.

  • I don't think your notes are extensive enough, maybe another page or two. And did the management notice you'd knicked their doilies? Other than that I like it despite it being a bit 'forced' in parts. I like lumpocal's comment, we all wish we could play, but none of us wants to have lessons do we?

  • Cool! :-)

  • I wish i could play...

    This is incredible.

  • This made my day - very nice!

  • This is solid. You need to get yourself some proper recording equipment so that I can buy a track and make you the money you deserve!! :)

  • What he said

  • only I'm a girl. ♥

  • Super!

  • Great idea. I loved this. Two of my favorite songs combined together? With such insight...

  • great performance

  • i really do love what im hearing, but is the video lagging or something? the picture and sound aren't matching all the time.

  • That is a very common issue with video files, especially when they have to b re-encoded before the are viewed, like on youtube.

  • Yes, I'm aware. But sometimes his hands appear to match and other times it looks really off. Ha, but whatev.

  • Beautiful playing and atmosphere.

  • :-*

    thankyou for this

  • brilliant!

  • damn i love the way he added stie it came out smoothe

  • i think the surrounding sounds give it a nice touch :) I love Satie.. This is really really good. I hope still that you can entertain us with a piece in a more silent environment.

  • too bad we hear all the dishes (if it's dishes) (we can see you play in a wellknown trendy place) It,s the exact kind of song we love to hear for a good ambiance

    cheers

  • this is EXCELLENT that we hear all the dishes!!!!

it just makes such a great mood and you concentrate not only on music, but on music in usual life, this is brrrrriiiillliant fit to music, music is going on, life is going on, it's like to hear the music even if nobody plays, or it's like YOU notice the music while everyone eat, drink, walk, talk etc, and this way it makes you much closer to the player and to the music!=)))

    haha, thts my foolosophy :D

  • You're a genious! You're creativity should be explored by a decent manager!

  • nice

  • no offense, but take 5 is alot harder and sounds better (to me anyway :P )

  • that was great!

  • smart!

  • der hammer

  • I love it!

  • <--- is in shock

    "Wow...magnifique.. just great"

  • hey, will you ever write music for this because im trying to play it the way you play it, only im not too great at modulating the left hand part... (only been playing a year)

  • hello wiggle. thanks for the comment, I'll definitely write the piece out one day. As soon as I do, i'll get in touch.

A little tip for now, the left hand modulates from (G and D) to (F#m and C#m). So try playing the usual Take 5 chords (in F#) and modulate it up a semitone to G major and D major.

PS you can add a major 7 to the D chord (C#) which is nice also.

    GOOD LUCK!

  • that was a reply to

"Mirtika (1 week geleden) Toon Verbergen 0 Gemarkeerd als spam Antwoorden | Spam Two of my very fave musical pieces..and the two work really well together. I enjoyed this a lot. THANKS."
