Gilmour's solo concerts with Rick Wright and guests from the On An Island Tour kicked the crap out of anything the post-Waters Floyd did from 1987-1994.

Was it because Gilmour had more freedom in song selection and arrangement?..Or was it because he performed the songs in a relaxed and under stated fashion?
