I thought green eyes was the 125th Ohio monument coming to life( A tiger, the regt's nickname was Opdyckes tigers) to look for the dead....a myth.

@larsjake The Green eyes story is older than the battle, let alone monuments placed on the battle. The Green Eyes story may date to the Chickamauga Cherokee who named the area "The river of death" long before the battle.
