Obama got the Peae Prize for what he is doing to achieve world piece. He stoped the eastern european missle sheild, which was only raising international tensions. He is pulling troops out of Iraq (useless war). Hes working closer with Russia, and hes helping the most powerful country in the world become more ecologialy friendly. He deserves it.

Thats not actually true. Voting was concluded in february long before he actually started to do anything. If you listen to the head of the Nobel Prize committee explain why they gave him the award, he says it was because they want to add clout to Obama's attempts to create a nuclear free world. They freely admit it wasn't because of anything he did, but what they want him to do. Tsvangarai and Hu Jia deserved it more, they actually labored years in harder conditions for peace.

@hgrew154 you really should read up on stuff man and work on your spelling, Obama's more than tripled the national debt, put a healthcare program in that will tax us all and not go into effect till 2014, and hes not pulling troops out of Iraq hes sending more in. Were balls deep in Iraq were not coming out of there for at least another 5 years probably. The reason he got that award is because Europeans hated Bush.
